You can't just pull out a betting ring out your ass.jimmy_beans8 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 1:54 am IF I WAS BOSS..,,give him his GOTTIS ,,,,capo status.....small rackets.......keep them diiiiisssttaaaant from admin.........if shit hit the fan,,,,,THEIR OWN PRESS CLIPPINGS/MEDIA......SMAAAAALLLLLL RACKECTS/SEMI RETIREE PLAN
The mob runs on greed, which is why it's so important for guys like Gene to keep their rackets going on while they're inside - which Gene managed to do effectively, seeing his lucrative loanshark book double in value to have a million dollars on the street by 2002, thirteen years after his conviction.

He already has a loanshark operation that has been running with Joseph and then Ralph Scopo, assuming it still is but who knowsgohnjotti wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 2:05 amAnd whose going to give up their rackets for ol' Geno? Everything belongs to the family not to the individual soldiers. If the boss says give up your operation you do it or risk otherwise. They know Gene is coming out and they know it for a long time. He did 30 years they aren’t going to shit on him, I’m sure they have something set aside for him when he’s ready.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 2:05 amAnd whose going to give up their rackets for ol' Geno? You are correct. Louis Freeh, former head of the FBI, said their fears about Russian OC back in the early 1990s had not proven true over time. The feds have assigned squads to Russian and other Eurasian groups in different cities but their lack of structure and how they operate prevented them from becoming the criminal power some thought they would.vaudevillian wrote: ↑Tue Sep 04, 2018 6:55 pmI always felt the Russian presence in American was overblown and while LCN may not be as dominant as the cartels they are still a top 5 OCG in America imo.
It's true that the Justice Department combined it's organized crime and gang sections a while back.JCB1977 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 04, 2018 7:53 pmHere are some imminent threats in the U.S according to the FBI

It was around that time, in 2009 if I remember correctly, that the Attorney General Organized Crime Council began to consider international organized crime (rather than the Italian-American Mafia) to be the primary organized crime threat facing the U.S. I've always taken this "international threat" to be collective in nature.
Anyway, this included a new reprioritization list -
1. Top International Criminal Organization Targets (TICOT)
2) Families of La Cosa Nostra
3) Organized Crime Groups in regard to cases coordinated by International Organized Crime Intelligence & Operations Center (IOC-2)
4) Any other organized crime group that the Organized Crime & Gang Section (OCGS) designated a High Priority Organized Crime Group.
All roads lead to New York.

Gang Land News, Dec. 2002, reported Gene Gotti running a loanshark book with Joseph and Ralph Scopo that, by 2002, thirteen years after Genes incarceration, was worth at least $1 million dollars.JCB1977 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 12:15 pmVery interesting...where did you get your figures from?gohnjotti wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 2:05 amAnd whose going to give up their rackets for ol' Geno?
