According to the Black Caesar doc what was left of the French connection was operating out of Caracas, Venezuela, a courier was caught at the airport there with heroin. For some reason the whole international part of the indictment on Mathews was took off, something about an illegal wire tap. They speak about him traveling to Venezuela, never hear them mention Asia at all. When Mathews was questioned in Vegas he supposedly told the agent that he still got his heroin from the Gambinos. I wanna get the book by Ron, I'm sure it would go into everything a little more. Also I could be wrong about all this, lol that's always a possibility but most of my knowledge of him comes from interviews on that doc.

Thanks for the link. At first i thought it was gonna be a long boring read and so much of it that id just skim it.... I ended up reading pretty much whole thing. Havent fully finished yet.


Interesting that he offered Australia to pay 40mill foe 8 years and hes stop any importation to them. Eventually i believe he offered USA same. Article claimed the heroin on the streets would almost clear up overnight.

Some such as oxys is syntehtic opiods which i believe id made in a lab.
