As Joeycigars said up top he has been in prison since December 2012.

The IRA also used masks and gloves during their floats. No doubt DiPietro was on the to do list and they were probably already in the stalking phase but they probably weren't planning to kill him right then and there. They probably spotted DiPietro out in the open with no one around (so they thought) and said, "fuck it lets do it now". Of course I can be totally wrong and they really are that stupid.

Who knows Nicodemo couldve used his own car in all the other hits he's participated in and there was never a witness until now.
If there wasnt one on this hit then it couldve been another clean kill.
Catastrophically stupid either way, and a moot point.

Re: New Mob Talks
That's how I see it too, Pogo. I think they spotted DiPietro on what they thought was an empty street and popped him. The Martorano hit, which Nicodemo is also linked too, was also pretty brazen. I don't doubt Nicodemo using his car for that hit, either.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 7:28 pmPogo The Clown wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 6:34 pm No doubt DiPietro was on the to do list and they were probably already in the stalking phase but they probably weren't planning to kill him right then and there. Probably regular routing transfer. My father in law has been in jail for 6 months. Got moved to a transfer station and took another 8 months just to get classified. Once you are classified(my father in law got classified as violent) it takes another month or 2 to transfer you there. That's just in my state, but I am sure it is similar, this is a State Case. Different from Federal Prisons.Rocco wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 7:49 amNicodemo's attorney probably just pushed for this so he could be closer to his family etc. Or they could have moved him to a shitter facility in to break him into cooperating . Who knows. But really its not unheard of for guys rotting in jail for decades to cooperate yrs later.NJShore4Life wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2017 9:31 am There's a new Mob Talk out:

That was from ScottB. Though how he would know the when, the where and the exact words Merlino told Nicodemo in ordering a murder is another matter entirely.

Scott said that Mazzone signed off on the hit at Nicodemo's request.

Re: New Mob Talks
I have a hard time believing anybody signed off on the hit considering the Ligambi trial at the time. Which makes me lean towards Philly not really being centralized at the time. It's more like crews are operating with their own leader and only network when there are disputes or territories overlapBobbyPazzo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2017 7:29 pmHe must be close with Stevie to know that...Teddy Persico wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2017 10:35 am Scott said that Mazzone signed off on the hit at Nicodemo's request.

Might have been speculation in this case not sure, but the guy does have sources

I don't think the Philly family is even big enough for that scenario. They are the size of a NY Crew ...maybe a crew and half..lol There are not that many players in that family for the FBI to even keep tabs on. lolyatescj7781 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 12:16 amI have a hard time believing anybody signed off on the hit considering the Ligambi trial at the time. Lot of guys been released lately. There are at least 50 members on the street right now. Problem is about half of them or more have held Admin or Capo positions.Rocco wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 9:11 amI don't think the Philly family is even big enough for that scenario.
