I wonder who the Rizzuto's/Sollecito have left for shooters...their last main guy is in prison for life and flipped, didn't seem like they had young Italian kids loyal to them as shooters even back then...wonder who would pull the trigger for them now...not saying there's no one but it doesn't seem like they have young kids under them looking to get made...
The Rizzutos are not invincible and never have been, but they have the money to resolve conflicts and to to hire hitmen from afar. From Daniel Renaud’s 2015 book:
We already learned that Nick Sr. apparently offered $1 million (I’ll check tomorrow to see whether the amount was $2 million) to whoever was ordering the attacks on his family in late 2009 and then in 2010.
And don’t forget Sal Montagna trying to mollify the camp representing Desjardins after his attempted murder by telling them that the Rizzuto camp had a hitman, known only as “36,” roaming around.
Anyway, it seems that some bigtime fanboys on Instagram are trying to deflect about what happened in yesterday’s incident by stating that the true target was Leonardo’s fellow passenger — without of course identifying this passenger. If these fanboys are right, I’ll have to eat crow.
