What about Bertolo? I can't come to any understanding as to why he was apparently in control of the sportsbook? My understanding is that a lot of the catalyst for the Bonnanos planting their flag up there was to get the bookies back in line....

I'll need to check my notes again on Basciano Jr. There's a court document that either lists him as being with Ernie Aiello in the early 2010s or a member of his crew. I can't remember which off the top of my head so I'll check again.

I put Basciano Jr on the list based on information from Gene Borrello. This is what he said in the mugshots Q&A about Basciano's sons:

From what I know they made Jr. Not the others.

Forget the doc title but it's still in the FBI section and I remember kind of what it says. Didn't say anything about Basciano being made but mentioned he was out to dinner with a bunch of Bronx guys and they were talking about Aiello and how he had problems with everyone. All of those younger bronx guys were working together selling pot and doing other things. Bruno, Basciano, Cassano, Larca Jr., Londonio, Ulzheiner, that rat from the reality show who blew the whole thing up and led to Basciano and Larca's arrest

It was an interesting doc, especially to see how all these guys associated with 3 of the 5 families all knew one another and were making moves together. Seems like Crea Jr, Larca Jr, and Cassano... the made guys basically... obviously had the most juice and were providing financing

Is Basciano Jr. a member? He was a proposed member in the early 2000s but was still an associate at the time of his 2013 arrest.

I recall this being disputed before by Bronx aka westside on gbb? Seems to be up in the air but I assume he would be. Don't think theres solid evidence either way though.

Yeah if I can recall correctly it was that at least 1 of Vinny Basciano Sr sons were definitely made. Didn’t it also come out during the sons weeed trial .

@Chin, surely Palazzolo and Badalamenti would have to be Capos being Mancuso loyalists.

Thomas Carrube testified that Badalamenti held no position after he got arrested. Palazzolo I just dumped in incarcerated because I didn't know what to do with him. He held a captain position at least when either before or when he was acting boss but I'm not sure what happened to him rank-wise when he went back to prison.

IIRC ulzheimer was on the offense but stopped. I could be wrong its been awhile since i read it and i cant find it anymore. Im sure its in fbi section. I forget the doc
