We have Violi saying the Commission approved of him becoming underboss, but Todaro may well have simply touched base with the NYC bosses and it was generalized by Todaro and/or Violi as a defacto "Commission". It's interesting in its own right, but I wouldn't consider it evidence that the NYC Families reorganized a formal Commission. It's not something that just happens on its own.

Some posters must think conceding a point that Massino was wrong/deliberately lied/misconstrued truth would lead to the rest of his testimony to be subject to question.

And certain posters have drawn battle lines on other Massino testimony therfor noe none of Massinos testimony is questionable as questioning one aspect, some it appears fear, would lead to a question of all.

Its a remarkable coincidence that the exact three posters who vehemently reject the Massino Napolitano/Brasco thesis have a united opinion on the Massino Commission thesis.

Napolitano/Black/Mirra/Ruggerio coincidences.

Now we have the 3 poster Powerplay/Commission coincidence as well.

I do love a good coincidence.

You're right. You'd know more about what the word Commission means, than a sitting boss of a Cosa Nostra family.

It's true... Pogo, Wiseguy, and I are conspiring together to defend Joe Massino's courtroom testimony.

Or maybe we just value what the highest-ranking CW in history has to say about events he directly participated in.

Wait...am I one of the three?

Unlike usual, I'm not necessarily taking a firm stance one way or the other on this one. I can see arguments either way depending on how the Commission is defined.

You do appear to do so at any length across multiple topics each with conflicting evidence. Again, quite a coincidence or perhaps your bias (which you immediatley confirm below. You contort history, logic, evidence (? some, all?) to fit into Massino's testimony.

At the expense of everything else bud? Fuck Vitales testimony. He was number two for 20yrs, married to joe's sister yet discard everything he says Joe directly said to him without consideration.
Forget everything else as well.

And now we have every available leader/representative on the street meeting up to discuss LCN business for all 5 families and just because joe says it aint so, it aint so.

Todaro, Boss, is the highest ranking member in CW history also. And he directly participated in seeking the 'Commissions' approval.

Please explain why one boss's word is better than another?

And get rid of my preconceived notions that you're doing so because you're trying to defend Massino's testimony.

A CW? What the fuck are you talking about? He was picked up on wiretaps supposedly that no one has transcripts of and youre labeling him a CW. What a joke, youre really sick arent you?

Ah, ya got me. That was a stupid typo. I was cutting and pasting to get similar verbatim. remove 'CW'. It reads as intended ie Higheat ranking member in history. IE a boss. Point still stands appreciate the correction.
Cheers ears.

Wow. Interesting and fledgling. Expert on LCN for sure. Sorry to interrupt. And now your bringing a "consensus" back together that Todaro is the boss of a "dead" family when the argument for years on here and across the street that he wasnt and retired. There is definitely some mental illness with posters on the internet. Experts on everything and nothing at the same time.
