Everytime he gets asked about it he always comes out with something like, 'You know, when you're a part of that life you see a lot of violence...', or some other non-answer.
Bill Bonanno was the same way. Can't think of others offhand, but it seems to be typical in sensationalized interviews with anyone who was even on the periphery of the life: "We solve our problems with a gun," said deadpan while the interviewer acts shocked.

So we have several scenarios playing out on this so let's list them: Inductees vs. Attendance/NOT Inductees:

Michael Franzese in February 22nd, 1989 FBI Interview:

Vincent "Jimmy" Angellina
Vito Guzzo
John Minerva
Jerry Clemenza aka Jerry "Brown"
Sal Miciotta aka Sally Misciotta (Franzese spelling)

Sal Miciotta says Joesph Peraino Jr. was there [was he (Peraino) inducted?] and currently Michael Franzese doesn't deny him (Peraino) of being Inducted that night.

The LIst that I gave Michael Franzese was from what Pogo gave me:

Vincent "Jimmy" Angellina
Vito Guzzo
John Minerva
Joseph Peraino Jr.
Sal Miciotta aka Sally Misciotta (Franzese spelling)

Michael only denied that Sal Miciotta wasn't Inducted with him. So he seems to be good with Peraino being Inducted. So if you put any logic to this - with just what was laid out - you would conclude that the list would be:

Vincent "Jimmy" Angellina
Vito Guzzo
John Minerva
Jerry Clemenza aka Jerry "Brown"
Joseph Peraino Jr.

Now whether he will ever confirm it to the BHF - I seriously doubt it. I think some of you put forth the more logical explanation that he is distancing himself from Sal Miciotta and the implication of conspiracy murder of driving the car in the 11 pages of the smoking Gun article.

I wouldn't implicate myself either in a conspiracy murder case and if you read what Michael said in all the Pages was very careful - like I never shot anyone with a gun. Hey he has managed to stay out of jail this long - he has all the ammunition that he needs to write or rewrite history that best suits him.

OK so Michael read the FBI document that I sent him of his interview on 2/22/89 that was transcribed on 2/23/89. He made no comment about it. As I said earlier I really don't expect an answer - otherwise, he would have answered it yesterday when he read it.

You will have to pay him a grand before he comments. ...
There you have it, never printed before.

Franzese takes the piss when it comes to making a living out of leaving the life. Can't say I blame him. He knows how to make a lot of money.
