Re: Joey Lombardo Update
Lombardo isn't going to talk and neither is Marcello. I think it's being done as a deterrent to anyone else who wants to step up and take a leadership role in the Outfit or a similar criminal organization. You want to lead a violent criminal enterprise? Fine, but we are going to catch you eventually, and when we do, this is where you are going.

Re: Joey Lombardo Update
Yes, That is also a good point. You're probably right it is more of a deterrant. Lombardo or Marcello will most probably never talk but you can never say never. Stanger things have happened.Snakes wrote: ↑Sat Aug 18, 2018 4:09 pm Lombardo isn't going to talk and neither is Marcello. I think Lombardo knows his time is close so he's just trying to die in the old neighborhood.

Re: Joey Lombardo Update
Was it presented in evidence or through testimony? Because it seems to me that if they knew it was owned by Louis Eboli, it would be simple enough to track down via property records. But they (the FBI) still had not located the exact house as of a year or two ago.

I found this reference to it being Eboli’s house from a article by gangster report.Snakes wrote: ↑Sat Aug 18, 2018 5:02 pmWas it presented in evidence or through testimony? Calabrese, who admitted to taking part in the Spilotro brothers hit, claimed that both Di Fronzo and Marino were two of a half-dozen Outfit assassins that mauled and mangled the Spilotros with ropes, bats, feet and fists in the basement of Chicago Mafioso Louis (Louie the Mooch) Eboli’s house in Bensenville, Illinois on the afternoon of June 14, 1986. Nicky Slim also testified that Di Fronzo was the man tasked with organizing the slaughter by then sitting-Godfather Joe Ferriola and that Ferriola and his underboss Sam (Wings) Carlisi were present to watch the gruesome twin executions take place.

Yeah, scott22 is the author of that article.
Re: Joey Lombardo Update
I don't believe Calabrese testified that Ferriola was Godfather and Carlisi was his Underboss.PaddyWhack wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 8:17 amI found this reference to it being Eboli’s house from a article by gangster report.Snakes wrote: ↑Sat Aug 18, 2018 5:02 pmWas it presented in evidence or through testimony? I’ve seen so much written about what Nick testified to, it’s made my head spin.
Re: Joey Lombardo Update
His owning of the house was never presented as evidence. I have all the trial testimony it says numerous times they could not locate the exact house where it occurred only the neighborhood. Nick says numerous times he didn’t know which house it was. If they didn’t know the exact house how could it be evidence of eboli owning it? Another story was done just a few years ago where the fbi to this day says they haven’t been able to figure out the exact house. Please reference the page of trial testimony where this takes place and I will compare it to my copies? ThanksSnakes wrote: ↑Sat Aug 18, 2018 5:02 pmWas it presented in evidence or through testimony? Re: Joey Lombardo Update
I bet Nick Calabrese could write a pretty decent book with his knowledge of Chicago over the years. I thought Frank Jr.'s book was good but now it seems he was mostly full of shit now that he's got his tour opened up. You'd think Nick would want the extra income?
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....

Well, what I can tell you about former Mob guys like Junior is - they want money for what they know and even if they don't know you pay 'em enough money and they "will remember something for you"..
Know which Game to Play
Re: Joey Lombardo Update
Quite the contrary. According to nick Calabrese Ferriola was never even a. Capo let alone boss and he would know who is boss is. I’m not bashing anyone but don’t say stuff was said during testimony that wasn’t. If your relying on a source instead read the actual documents. I’ve read them. There’s many other posters on here who actually read the docs. Let’s all put the work in who wants to and actually go through the stuff so there’s not misinformation flying around as fact. Again not bashing anyone but just do the work. I’ve said my pieceFrank wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 9:47 amI don't believe Calabrese testified that Ferriola was Godfather and Carlisi was his Underboss.PaddyWhack wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 8:17 amI found this reference to it being Eboli’s house from a article by gangster report.Snakes wrote: ↑Sat Aug 18, 2018 5:02 pmWas it presented in evidence or through testimony?
