Was watching news earlier and the guy said in NJ you're not allowed to bet on Rutgers, Seton Hall, ect. Maybe it will vary for each state

Bodog had to switch to bovada and domains were took. We’ll see. One article says going to take a long time. Another guy says Monmouth Park will offer it in 2 weeks. Who knows

Going to be up to each state. But not taking action on in state games is different than not taking it on all of college. Ya know?

As a bookmaker ill give you my opinion.. Its not gonna help my business but I don't see it hurting it either. PA is gonna be taking action by the start of football season. But real gamblers people who play every week are not gonna be willing to put down the money up front every single time they wanna bet on something they like to just play hope they win and if they lose go and get the money. It def scares me a little bit that they will probably have an app/website so people won't have to go to the casino every time they wanna bet but everyone who wants to bet already does. It will bring in that new crowd who put in something a couple times a year for SB and stuff but to me if they start to get hooked they'd be better off going to a bookmaker. I'm baking on the fact it will just make my business more legitimate and acceptable to reach a new crowd. I'm glad its legalized but it cracks me up the people on here that are glad that "its being taken away from the street guys"... Why? The government is just a bigger mob theyr'e gonna making billions of dollars off this just like when they took the numbers lottery from street guys but you wont see any schools getting more funding or anything productive just the government mob pocketing money and the rich getting richer. Also for the people glad "the good guys won" this does nothing for you its not gonna make your cable bill or your rent cheaper its just gonna put more money in the governments pocket

the main thing it does it gurantees I am going to get paid if I have a winning ticket
second you can collect right after the game ends don't have to wait until next week to collect.
sitting in a sportsbook , running some horse bets , having some cocktails watching a ball game sounds like a nice time. imagine the whole room bet the local team and it came in , the place will be going crazy.
I hope you got clobbered tonight , best team in the league plus points , after the cavs got there asses kicked last night , it was evident that golden state was going to come out tonight to send a message .

Why do so many people on this forum just look to start shit for no reason "I hope you got clobbered tonight" ... and yeah i did get hit on GS but the Golden Knights beating The Jets evened everything out.. But anyway I agree it does sound nice i'll be at the Casino with everyone else doing that but people already do that Your "sitting in a sportsbook , running some horse bets , having some cocktails watching a ball game sounds like a nice time. imagine the whole room bet the local team and it came in , the place will be going crazy" is something i've done at bars all over... But the thing is no ones gonna do that every night especially on week days. Most of the guys who really gamble are gonna want credit they aren't gonna drive to a casino with $500 and put it down every time they win. And to my other point i've thought for years it should be legalized and taxed but regular people aren't gonna see any benefit from it the rich are just gonna get richer.

Your the one who said you were a bookmaker why would I want you to win should I go to the casino and root for the house ? , I want the players to win .

We’re straying to far off topic not Anyway the point is nickel and dime bookies like your self will be put out of action , the big fish will stick around ,
