Also, do either of you guys know anything about the current Manitoba situation? I was browsing the HA site for shits and giggles and they are now listing Manitoba as having two charters, the old patched over Los Bravos charter that started in 2000 but also the "Manitoba nomads", 2017. Any idea why they would introduce a Nomads chapter to the province?

Do you know if Stadnick is still the national president, or did he lose that job once he went away?
About Stadnick, he is on parole now. Here is a recent article on him.

Yep, I know he's on parole (and that he also violated it but managed to avoid being sent back to the can), i'm more curious about his current status within the HA. IS he still calling shots or has his star somewhat faded during his time in prison?

Good article though, so thanks, I didn't know this:
While in custody in the Kingston area, he was transferred from medium to maximum security prisons in 2006 and 2009 “for illegal trafficking activities and large-scale loansharking within the institution.”

Honestly I can't tell what is his actual status within the HA.

Here is what his profile on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolodumir ... D_Stadnick) says about his parole conditions.

"Stadnick was paroled in June 2014, lasting less than a month due to suspicion that he was associating with people with criminal records as well as the biker club. He was able to convince the board to reinstate his freedom in December 2014. "He will have unrestricted freedom beginning April 12, 2019. Until then, Stadnick is under extremely strict conditions, including: avoid people in street and motorcycle gangs (any person known to be a hang around or wannabe of any outlaw motorcycle gang), barred from owning more than one cellphone and must show his parole officers detailed billing statements for it, including documentation of who he texts and emails and what social media sites he visits. He also can’t consume alcohol or go to bars or own or operate a motorcycle or work in motorcycle repair. He must also obey a curfew that runs between 9 p.m and 6 a.m. Given his past criminal spending habits, and amounts of money within drug trafficking the Board will monitor his revenues and expenses."[55]"

Scoppa's bail hearing also revealed he doesn't get along with his brother, Salvatore (Menthol) Scoppa.

This article is very revealing about the status and force of Scoppa inside the Montreal milieu. I do know why but I have the feeling that Scoppa is not going to live very long. The unexpected lift of charges by the Crown leaves lot of unanswered question. Why did the Crown so? I think (but I may be wrong too) that the Crown did not want to disrupt an ongoing police operation on the Mtl mafia.

With everyone back on the street we're up for a blast. Only a matter of time before some scores are settled.

Do you think Scoppa was the culprit of the conflict in the last few years?

Is he close to the old Cotroni group or more on his own?

No, I think he is on his own. He is described by intelligence police as "chef de clan".

Peter Edwards of the Toronto Star and Daniel Renaud of La Presse share the byline for the article to which I've linked below.

"These guns were used in GTA crimes. Their manufacturer said he thought they were for paintball"
