Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage

Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
What about the piazzas. Are they made or active at all? Wasn’t there a Genovese crew kicking up a small tribute to loscalzo years ago as well? Been a while since I been in Tampa.
Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
Are Julius B. Chiusano, 69, Giuseppe 'Joe Baldy' Belitto, 68, and Joseph Silvestri, 60 (all Miami guys) made? Would like to know if you have heard anything regarding them.sdeitche wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2017 7:27 am Antonio Amorelli/68 - living in Tampa
Terry Cacciatore/70 - died April 10, 2001
Salvatore "Sam" Carollo/78 - living in Tampa area (Dade City in Pasco County last I checked)
Joseph DiGerlando/77 - living in Tampa- doubt active
Vincent LoScalzo/78 - WIll be 80 this year. Still living in Brandon (just outside Tampa) and working at Emerald Green Country CLub as far as I know.
Michael Napoli/64 - ??
Louis Caggiano/79 - THink hes still in Tampa. House he lived at in South Tampa was sold earlier this year
Frederick Scarola/73 - an associate charged int eh 2000 Miami faction bust. alive in Ft Lauderdale. He has a Facebook page. Doubt he's still active
Julius Chiusano/67 - another Gambino/Trafficante Miami associate. Not sure
Also, Freddy Scarola probably hooked up with his inlaw Bonanno capo Anthony 'TG' Graziano's crew, following his release (unless he retired). According to Lovaglio (who took over Graziano's crew), the crew maintained interests in Florida following TG and Scarola's 2002 arrest.

Scott, any info on whether Lo Scalzo has or may induct new members?sdeitche wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2017 12:28 pmI don't. John Galatolo wrote me about 15 years ago from prison. What do you know about the murder of Giuseppe Tramontana a friend of Buscetta present in his wedding to Vera Girotti and also the murder of Giuseppe Romano? In the internet we can read Steve Raffa and Vincenzo Lo Scalzo were involved in both these murders. Is it true?
Also, John Galatolo's cousins children flipped. His cousin is Vincenzo Galatolo "Enzo Alati" ex-boss Acquasanta and his son and daughter both flipped.
Another of Galatolo's friend is Saro Naimo who was boss of all the sicilian mafiosi in America and he also flipped.
Incredible he didn't get a life sentence in America for those two homicides.
Or, will this family die when the current members pass away?
I suspect it will be the latter, but curious. Thanks, JeffE

Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
The last active Piazza was phillip. He died a long time ago, forget exactly when.
Never heard about the Genovese crew.
Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
I think the family is dead and what active guys involved were taken over by the gambinos. But I think the lcn as a whole is pretty much dead in Tampa unless the Gambinos still have an active interest in some clubs there. Just NY and NJ crews in FL that are active it seems. Also even though the Outfit is still active it doesn't seem that they had active crews in FL for decades
Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
Yeah, the Trafficante family is long gone. Last activity was in the early 2000s and even then it was more remnants of the family that were affiliated with the Gambinos. Maybe cdc is talking about John Mamone, who was a Genovese associate before hooking up with the Trafficantes? Anyway, the only activity for years now have been the NY families in the Miami/South Florida area.
All roads lead to New York.
Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
You might be right wiseguy. I did have it in my head that it was in Miami so could well have been that.
We’re any of the piazzas ever actually made or was mamone the last guy to be made?
No doubt the family is dead. When a made guy, Camero I think, sues someone over a property dispute it’s a pretty clear indicator they have disappeared.

Safe to say in our lifetime that all families will be gone except the NYC Metro area.Wiseguy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 11:44 am Yeah, the Trafficante family is long gone. Maybe Philly, Chicago, Patriarca will linger, but no others.

Didn’t you just name all the families active now? Apart from debatable Detroit of course.SILENT PARTNERZ wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 1:22 pmSafe to say in our lifetime that all families will be gone except the NYC Metro area.Wiseguy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 11:44 am Yeah, the Trafficante family is long gone. Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
Don't think so. It would be interesting to delve into who these mysterious coded bosses could be. We have received a bit of clues from what Stango said.JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Sat Mar 03, 2018 11:02 pm

Also, I think the DeCavs are doing pretty good and I don't think they "run under the f**king Gambinos" like Stango said. He was probably exaggerating.
