Have you read how much they've been spending on this case... Did Joey even spend a week in jail behind this shit? They talk about people on welfare and food stamps wasting tax money but this shit is truly egregious. The only thing that's happened thanks to this case is Merlino deleting his instagramStroccos wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 11:19 ammaybe the governemnt just wanted to fuck with merlino, they have a lcn boss on paper or bail restrictions and wastes time and money .joeycigars wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 11:06 am The Feds threw a a bad case together , You can pick up tens of thousands of criminals in Philly and youll get a better case with violence drugs scams and gang affiliation , this is as weak as a case I ever seen , So much hoopla and money for the big east coast LCN enterprise boss Merlino , Beam me the fuck up to the enterprise Merlino won this gamble even if its not a full acquittal just hung , Now the defense knows what evidence they had ....None , Feds overplayed there hand Merlino called it like he saw it the hand
If anyone got the short end here IMO it was Patsy Parrello. Guy got like 8 years behind this shit.

My guess is the Jurors don't want to take this into the weekend, maybe a last minute verdict depending on if there is only one or two holdouts
Obama's a pimp he coulda never outfought Trump, but I didn't know it till this day that it was Putin all along.

Too bad Scafidi flipped some years ago. We need someone to yell NOT GUILTY, BABY! at the courthouse if the jury comes back with that.
EYYYY ALL YOU CHOOCHES OUT THERE IT'S THE KID
Re: Merlino Trial thread
If you are Joey right now, you have to like where you are at but not out of the woods yet. Who knows, might be 11 to convict and 1 dissenter....but I doubt it. Reminds me of Uncle Joe's juries. Just a garbage case with no real investigative work. Whatever happened to building a case through evidence piece by piece, instead of just taking these rats at their word for everything?

Ligambi's second trial was 10-2 to acquit.
The way you talk, you just confuse him.

How do you retire when you live above your means?

Hey TJ, never did any criminal law, and I did not follow the facts intently in this case. thus my question.TJ wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 6:50 pm I think joey thought whatever the cream.thing was, it was legal..and i think.he gambled and gave some action thru rubeo..now, is that a federal gambling charge? Clock u r an attorney u know more than i do..was he involved in a healtj care.fraud.scheme? Again, i dont kmow enough about the law to say that if joey knows a doctor and.said doctor writes legit scripts for whatever this cream is and jsomeone gets a commission for introducing that person, is it illegal...i will say this..for the govt.to waste the amount of time and money on it , really obnoxious

Scott, was this testimony from the day we got together?sdeitche wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 7:27 amFirst off I heard the prosecutors refer to the pain cream stuff as the "cream scheme" which I immediately trademarked for the title of a book, indie rock band, or title of porno.Teddy Persico wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 5:58 amCan you give any details on his testimony?sdeitche wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 5:36 amFrom the amounts of money that I heard Kriseberg testifying about when I sat in on the trial last week, no way the total came anywhere close to $157 million.Teddy Persico wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 10:52 pm So you guys don't think Merlino saw any of that $157 million coin pound cream money?
Just some notes from my scribbles:
Kriseberg (K) testimony:
Kriseberg paid Rubeo and Camacvo $800 per script
K was told that "Joey ran Philly"
Sirkin told Kto pay Camacho and Rubeo because Sirkin told K that he had a sitdown with Merlino
A lot of personal disputes between Camacho and K over money
K was addicted to pain pills
K owed Brad Sirkin money over gambling debt - supposedly sitdown with Merlino over debt
K was gambling on football, baseball, basketball- online
K used burner phones in the "cream scheme" (trademarked- keep away)
K saw Sirkin Pay Merlino at Dino and Frank resto in Boca (formerly Merlinos) - this became a good part of the cross. K admitted there were 30-40 people at the bar and he only saw a quick exchange. IN testimony he said merlino counted out the bills. Lie
K ran into Merlino after Merlinos closed (fall 2016) and agreed to go partners in a new restaurant (mayeb Dino and Franks- I was unsure on this timeline). Around the same time as indictment came down
This was interesting:
K was indicted with the "enterprise" in 2016. Prior to that in 2/11/15 and 2/11/16 he had proffer sessions with the FBI. Then a third on 11/2/17
