What ever happened to Barney Miranda, I would assume he is dead by now. Did he lose influence in the family when Mike Miranda died??

Seems Barney Miranda was active in the family up until his own death, or close to it. An informant from the early 1970s talks about Miranda muscling in on some kind of operation or business during that period, leading to a sitdown, which it looks like he won, though most of the specifics are blocked out. He is referred to as "a relative" of Mike Miranda in this.

Wouldn't they have had around 20 something?

Cafaro testified in 1988 that the family had 14 crews. Would make for larger crews, I guess.

By '74 Harry Lanza was singing opera in the underground circuit. Maybe I'm wrong but 'the way I have it' Lanza was always a soldier under Mickey Lascari. If I recall correctly, Tony "Bucola" Ferro was running 116 THROUGHOUT the flower power and Disco shit period. Then again who the hell knows with the West Side? Dan deManno could have been the counselor and nobody would have been the wizer. But i doubt it.
