Re: Barney Miranda
Sorry meant whacking of Zeccardi lol
Re: Barney Miranda
Seems Barney Miranda was active in the family up until his own death, or close to it. An informant from the early 1970s talks about Miranda muscling in on some kind of operation or business during that period, leading to a sitdown, which it looks like he won, though most of the specifics are blocked out. He is referred to as "a relative" of Mike Miranda in this.

Thanks B. It sounds like he could of been a future power in the family,if he hadn't died.B. wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2017 4:53 pmSeems Barney Miranda was active in the family up until his own death, or close to it. Wouldn't they have had around 20 something?

Interesting that surveillance photos were being taken as early as 1957. Can't think of seeing any others as early as this.

Hey fellas, new member here.B. wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2017 4:45 pm - The structure of the organization is listed as follows:
Boss - Frank Tieri
Former boss - Gerardo Catena (incarcerated)
Underboss - Eli Zeccardi
Consigliere - John Ardito
Captains:
Vincent Alo
Ruggiero Boiardo
Peter DeFeo
Pasquale Eboli
Gus Frasca
Vincenzo Generoso (retired)
Thomas Greco
Harry Lanza
Joseph Lapi
Peter LaPlaca
Philip Lombardo
(There are two additional redacted names; these likely correspond to other info in the same report that says two individuals were recently promoted to captain. Note that they were not made captains of the Carillo/DeCarlo crews.)
I apologize before anything else because I don't have any legitimized U.S. source or fed task force citations. Take it for what it is. Another asshole heard from. For what its worth I would add these guys to the list during the Disco era. The worst era in music history.
#John Dee Gillio
#"Pepe" Sabato
#Vinny Napoli (Acting)
#Joe Shippani/Shipanni, whatever (sp!?)
#"Stricchi" Gatto (the old man, not the son)
By '74 Harry Lanza was singing opera in the underground circuit. Maybe I'm wrong but 'the way I have it' Lanza was always a soldier under Mickey Lascari. From there it splits in two directions all leading to the same place. One for Rosario Mogavero and one for Louie Gaccione. Saro sits down and Tommy the Monster [Contaldo] takes over. Lou keeps going into the Wild West 1980s. The Reagan period. [Not the exorcist]
If I recall correctly, Tony "Bucola" Ferro was running 116 THROUGHOUT the flower power and Disco shit period. Then again who the hell knows with the West Side? Dan deManno could have been the counselor and nobody would have been the wizer. But i doubt it.
I can not say for sure but somewhere out there "Dom the Sailor" was in the picture. Not Patsy. As what? Who knows? Maybe its in one of them reports typed up by the feds??? I also believe [think?] Dimino Jr. MAYBE, MAYBE was already "acting" or was "acting" like it.
Beautiful forum fellas. My name is JIGGS.
