I think the younger guys seem to be even more delusional and lowlifes than the older guys like DiFronzo or Andriacchi. The older guys dressed much better and were at least smart enough to become wealthy and get out. This will never happen to any younger guys. The Outfit will be finished as a Family in the next 10 to 15 years in my opinion. The only guys left to recruit are low life scumbags who dress poorly. I base this opinion on the way the demographics have changed and the way these guys look in photographs. Most all the Italian Americans who are younger live in the suburbs from what I was reading and are reasonably successful. They don't give a fuck about the Outfit.

Certainly many top guys that ended up being in the outfit would probably be legit in this day and age. The soprano influence and the current state of things lends wannabes to try and be involved who couldn't give two shits about the outfit but only themselves. In response to guys sarno may have made the majority of them I know of are not these types but actually dress like regular people and aren't big spenders or flashy. You wouldn't peg them as mob or slobs but just regular guys. Few guys that are sons of well respected made members are in that mix and probably do give a shit about the outfit based on how they were raised. These are guys in their 40's and 50's who will most likely be among the next leaders of the outfit. Guys that are currently trying to make a name for themselves in their 20's and 30's I couldn't tell you too much about but the ones I know of could fit what your saying. The days of the rich, gentleman, dapper type gangsters are over

Dude you don't know what your talking about. Your saying Dino is new but nick has been around forever? Dino is 15 years older than nick! Both have been around forever they grew up in the outfit. Nick has never been identified as a made member and specifically was not named a made guy when indicted in 05. Get your facts straight and do some research and we will continue this conversation but I can't keep going back and forth with you when you don't know what's going on. One more piece of info to add. Sarno became boss in 05 therefore if nick was not identified as made in 05 by the FBI and he is now made it would have had to been sarno or someone after he went away. This was talked about before whether nick could have been one of the guys made by sarno. We don't know but you asked who people have speculated on he is one that didn't fit your idea of what sarnos made guys would look like as are the other two mentioned. Suburbs where locals (LE) don't have resources.

Feds have other priorities but they do still work on it.

Federal - Human Trafficking has been their focus in Chicago for the last eight years - increasing their Unit size several fold.

Outfit still wants to control as many Judgeships as possible

Shifting resources to Immigration in the Federal Budget.

Don't know what that means. The Local LE in suburbs don't build cases against the Outfit. They cooperate with Outfit instead. The Feds are the ones who build the cases. If local cop gives info to Feds, then he is an informant just like any other informant.

They have had high level informants for years. These same two informants were known of as far back as the nineties so it isn't like this is some new revelation.

Never said it was a new revelation. But if you were to notice, the 90's was DEVASTATING to the Outfit. The Feds have never said there were two high level informants about the any of the New York 5 for example feeding them info for 25 years. They ONLY came out and said it about Chicago. Besides, those families are much bigger. Big difference between a 20 man Family and a 200 man Family. the 200 man Family is much harder to dismantle.

Local le does build cases as well they just don't do it as often, which is why bobby panozzo is sitting in county jail charged in a state rico case and not sitting in federal prison. Koroluk who was part of the same crew and is currently doing time in a state prison. See the link below as it discusses this case. Notice it talks about how it's a cook county state rico charge which is similar to the federal charge. Also it talks about Chicago pd and the Feds working together on the case

Haven't seen any real evidence of the local police gathering information on bookmaking which is way different than murder.

The old Michael's Magic Touch strip joint in Lyons Illinois was owned by the Outfit or Aiuppa and was burned down by the Outlaws. I will try to find more information. I thought Aiuppa had them burn it down, but maybe it has something to do with revenge about the murdered Outlaw.

The local LE only get involved when there is violence or the obvious threat of violence. They are generally not involved in gathering information on VICTIMLESS crimes. That's generally how it has been for years in big cities.
