From what I know, the Police don't cooperate or interact much with the Feds. Sometimes the Feds investigate the Police. If you think the Feds are USING the local suburb Police to help them investigate the Outfit, on that level, you don't know what you're talking about because it doesn't work that way. The Feds keep their investigations private. They would never involve the Police while they are gathering information because the Police would tell the Outfit.

If a local Suburb Police Officer gives information to the Feds, then he is an informant like any other informant.

Ambrose passed the info to William guide who I think was a cop that went down with Ambrose father in the police corruption trials known as the Marquette 10, and guide passed it to matassa who passed it to Mickey. The irony of this whole statement by the Feds is that Chicago probably has the highest violent crime rate per capita in the Nation because of *******es shooting and killing each other every day over the street drug trade and what color socks somebody is wearing.

Can't name any people Sarno supposedly made but looking at the likes of Carparelli, Panozzo, and the other informants working under them, My opinion is that they are low class nobodies who will go nowhere. Read more carefully I didn't say I know who was made. I said guys that may have been made. I would have no idea who was made or who wasn't. I'm speaking about people that various people and websites have speculated could have been made. The names are out there if you look around but a few specifically would be Dino Marino and Nick ferriola. I have no insider knowledge. I don't know the guys personally but both are people that lived close to me and I would see around so I can certainly say how they dress and how they come off in person since you seem to be very hung up on these specific topics.
