Aniello Dellacroce roots.

Re: Aniello Dellacroce roots.
Very interesting thread. So Rizzo may have been a Capo of a crew before Rava's? I've read on here and on GBB that Rava's crew was split between Rizzo and Dellacroce, making me assume that Rizzo had been a Rava crew soldier and was a newly appointed Capo at that time. Was he already a Capo and they just put some of Rava's guys in his crew?

Very interesting....at the end it says Carlo Gambino was pressured to step down because others were starving. First time I ever heard this. Anyone know more details? Thanks.AlexfromSouth wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2017 2:15 amThat clears a lot of things HK. So it probably wasn't Carlo who made the inicial 10 guys, first 10 guys after the 20 year closed door?HairyKnuckles wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2017 11:13 pmThat was on gangsterbb and pure speculation from my part. No evidence of Rizzo sponsoring Rava into the Mafia. However, an informant makes it clear that Rizzo sponsored his son John.I remmeber HK talking about Rizzo sponsoring Rava to get made or something like that. Maybe he will tell us
And also...In 1975, Carlo Gambino was basically retired although consulted at times on Family matters. The Gambino Family was run by Castellano, Gallo and Jimmy Brown. That´s the exact wording from informant. Not sure if he meant that the Family was run by a three man committee or if it was run in the more traditional way. Dellacroce was out of the race. He had been strongly criticized by Gambino and fallen out of favor. Gambino called Dellacroce "cannon fodder". Read more here: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=221&hilit=lazio&start=50

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.
