Anyone else find it totally wild that no one from the old Elmwood Park Crew ever did any real prison time? Those guys truly had that town on lockdown. One has to wonder if it’s still the same today. Skip Saviano is still town president right?
That’s really what I meant to say, is that compared to the rest of the prolific Mafia crews in the US, I don’t think one made guy from that crew got life. Which is astounding
Definitely remarkable how few served serious time though. Seemed to be a general Chicago thing more than anything due to the extreme corruption.
While we're on the subject, are there any pictures of Aiuppa after he was released in 1996? He looks old as hell in the 80's. I can't imagine what he looked like in the mid-90's.
