Anyone else find it totally wild that no one from the old Elmwood Park Crew ever did any real prison time? Those guys truly had that town on lockdown. One has to wonder if it’s still the same today. Skip Saviano is still town president right?
Cerone and WIllie Messino both did some pretty serious time.
True, but they’re the only ones. And both died at home

That’s really what I meant to say, is that compared to the rest of the prolific Mafia crews in the US, I don’t think one made guy from that crew got life. Which is astounding
I know he didn't but it's almost like Cerone got compassionate release, he was dead within a month iirc.

Definitely remarkable how few served serious time though. Seemed to be a general Chicago thing more than anything due to the extreme corruption.
He died 6 days after he was released. It was definitely compassionate release.

While we're on the subject, are there any pictures of Aiuppa after he was released in 1996? He looks old as hell in the 80's. I can't imagine what he looked like in the mid-90's.

Not only is he the most annoying poster in message board history, now he is defending rape.
Yeah, not sure why you'd even bother warning someone like that. You shouldn't want to be around someone like him. There's unanimous agreement here from what i can see keeping him around seems like embracing trolling.
The guy must be incredibly annoying because it's almost impossible to piss me off but he's succeeded so I can't imagine how awful he must be for everyone else.

Why is he still alive? I'm sick of looking at him.
Your signature says otherwise since you admit you hate everyone.

Lets move on and get this thread back on track. I've said my opinion on Gigi and what I feel is in defense of his character. Have a wonderful day everyone.
At this point you should just start a new account because no one here is going to forget that you support rape. RushStreet may as well be RapeStreet at this point.
Lets make this clear one last time. I will type in all CAPS so you do not misunderstand the following.......

I DO NOT SUPPORT RAPE. WHAT I DO SUPPORT IS A SECOND CHANCE FOR A MAN WHO OBVIOUSLY MADE A BAD MISTAKE DUE TO LACK OF MENTAL MATURITY WHEN HE WAS 17 YEARS OLD AGAINST A GIRL WHO BY DEFINITION WAS IN THE SAME AGE GROUP AS HE WAS. IF HE HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN I CAN GUARANTEE YOU HE WOULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENT DECISION THAT DAY.

Gee, I'm not sure how I got through high school without anal raping anyone. I guess I was just more "mentally mature."

Go away, troll.

Was it? I thought it was just coincidental timing, i thought he served his sentence.

I remember Snakes posted that someone claimed Aiuppa was trying to get a meeting with DiFronzo so he could kill Cerone when he got out. Dude looked decrepit in The Last Supper picture and that's like 20 years earlier, imagining him wheeling up to people and talking about how he wants to whack Cerone is hysterical.

I don't think I've seen any "official" sources concerning that, but I believe it was a Fosco story.

It’s definitely unique to Chicago and we all know why that is, as you pointed out, but the old Elmwood park hierarchy in particular just seemed immune to heavy prosecution. Al Sarno, Capezio, Gagliano, Messino, Accardo, Cerone, Marco D, all of the difronzos, etc etc etc all died in their beds. And Fratto, Dote, & Abbinanti are all free & living it up

It truly took all of my mental & physical willpower to not compulsively r*p3 children in their butts all throughout my teenage years. I’m proud of my discipline. At least I dressed well & drenched myself in cologne. That’s all that really matters.

Most engaged comment says 'Stuffed Peppers and Steroids.' So many comments calling this guy a sex offender and just trolling - I see trolling on Merlino and other accounts, but not like this. I really don't get why these mob guys think putting themselves out there and getting trolled by strangers is a good idea.
Classifying him as a child rapist when he was 17 years old is comical in my opinion. He wasn't even of legal age back then when he did what he did.
Yeah I mean he was pretty young when he raped an 8th grader with one of his buddies
Not even old enough to make a decision to join the military and people are going to say he was mentally mature enough to do a very ignorant crime. Until he is proven to have raped for victims as the years went on I'd have to say he's forgiven for his actions.
what in the fuck
He was 17 years old when he did what he did. Its been approximately 32 years since he did that and I firmly believe that it was a one time deal. He fucked the broad in the ass and I am sure regrets it. It was a mistake and young kids do stupid shit, plus he was 17 and she was 14. If he was 30 and she was 14 then yeah different story. Rape is nothing to laugh about and I know for a fact he's never done it again. Now that his brain is fully developed and he makes better decisions.
It depends what he was wearing... Of course, bo! Was he in slacks or denim? Did he have jorts on? Was his left nut hanging out of his shorts when he sat down? Was he fully clothed in a 3 piece suit or was he just in his loafers and dress socks during this despicable act?
If we get the court transcript..

Probably dressed very well to be completely honest. A pair of nice dress pants, and a very nice button down shirt with good quality shoes.

Chuck Goudie says he has solved mob boss Sam Giancana's 1975 murder
Axios Chicago
Justin Kaufmann

One of Chicago's biggest mob mysteries may be solved this week thanks to investigative reporter Chuck Goudie.

The latest: Goudie, who has been reporting on the mob for over 40 years, announced he has new evidence and will reveal the killer of one of this city's most reputed mob bosses, Sam "Momo" Giancanca.

Flashback: Giancana was the boss of Al Capone's mafia crime family "The Outfit" in the 1950s, decades after Capone made it famous. Giancana has been linked to several high-profile national and international crimes, including the assassination of JFK.
  • In the 1960s, Giancana served a year for contempt of court.
In 1975, he was murdered in his Oak Park home.
The crime has never been solved.
What they're saying: "Just because a crime was committed 50 years ago and the police files have been gathering dust, it doesn't mean that it can't be solved," Goudie said in a statement.

"Sometimes a fresh set of eyes, new conversations with stakeholders and an interest in answering the question: 'Who killed Momo?' are incentives enough to shake loose a solution."

Zoom in: Goudie says he has gathered new information, including forensic evidence from the gun used to kill Giancana, and promises to unveil the legendary mobster's killer with his two-part series that airs Wednesday and Thursday on the NBC 5 News at 10pm.

The intrigue: Goudie was dumped by ABC-7 in January, but quickly moved up the dial to NBC 5. The longtime investigative reporter was honored last week with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chicago Headline Club.

Although he did gives us the image of DiFronzo driving away with truck nuts!

DiFronzo wasn't even involved in anything illegal when he confronted him that day. He was fully retired.
