Thanks for clarifying for that
Wow, that is a great spot. I had seen the photo on his wife's social media before but didn't recognise Giacalone there. Do you think it could be Peter D. Tocco in the other chair with him?
I think Scott B said that "Gotti" Tocco married into money here, though I might confusing him and Little Pete Tocco. Gotti Tocco isn't really around anymore, right?

Whats sad is that I bet you most of those wedding guests have no clue who these guys really are.
Great photos btw.

So Gotti Tocco who used to be a driver for Jack Giacalone married a girl named Ashley from Farmington Hills. I don’t really know why he fizzled out with Giacalone. He lives on the Eastside now. From what I’ve been told he’s a nobody and he was a tough guy with a hot head which brought attention. As we all know Giacalone don’t like attention. So that could’ve been a factor.JoePuzzles234 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 12:19 pmThanks for clarifying for that

Yes, that is Petey Specs next to him. Good eye.

Little Petey Tocco married a very wealthy Chaldean girl and lives in West Bloomfield. He also has a painting company. I’ll try and find a recent pic I have of him. From what was told to me, he is completely out of that life.

Not sure who’s still active with the Present day Chaldean Mob. But, I know some of the big names are Akrawi, Kalasho, Jihad.JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 6:46 pm Something would have to be mentioned about the Chaldeans .

Ray Jihad owns Target Sports in West Bloomfield. He was on the show Hardcore Pawn. He threw them out of his shop. Pretty funny Episode.
Louis “Hammerhead” Akrawi was the Godfather of the Chaldean mob. Has been in prison for murder. I think he was released. Possibly deported back to Iraq. Or at least the Govt. was trying to.
His son Viktor bought Ciao Cafe on Garfield rd from a Tony Pal guy. The cafe has since closed.

@Tocco686
Did Jackie just give up after his daughter and that’s why he let the D’Annas push out Aceto? Or are the D’Anna’s the only ones left with any muscle since they are bringing folks over from Sicily?

Re: Detroit LCN 2025 and Future
It seems like Giacalone became a recluse over the years. Whether it be from his daughter or other issues I really couldn’t say. Besides the Stage Deli he rarely left his house. I used to live a few streets over from him.
D’Anna’s we’re always good at playing both sides. Joe specifically. I believe the D’Anna’s have always kind of worked independently from the family. I’m sure they pay their tributes to Giacalone and Lapiana, but I doubt they’re giving the lions share of their profits to these guys. They basically run the whole Eastside. I’ve asked Scott before if the Aceto thing was a big issue. He didn’t really say. I would assume it would cause a rift and be some bad blood. But I guess if the D’Anna’s are making Giacalone more money he won’t care.

What I believe is the current family structure as of 2025.

Tocco, thanks for the excellent information. I see that you have a deep knowledge of the Detroit Partnership. A few months ago, Scott, via Original Gangsters, shared information that some Sicilians had been admitted to the family or were operating as associates.
Would these be the D'Anna or were there others?

Again, I don’t want to out anyone that hasn’t been arrested yet. So I can give you last names. If Scott wants to confirm them with you he can. As to which of these guys are being made or associates, I have no idea. Again, if you wanna get a look at them they like to hang at Tony Lops place La Strada in Birmingham or at Sapori in Washington Twp. Which is a stronghold for the D’Anna’s. Every once in awhile you can see them in the parking lot of Aurelio's, which is an Italian Reataurant in Clinton Twp. That spot is owned or at least the property is by Mimmo D’Anna.JogodoBicho wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 10:42 am Tocco, thanks for the excellent information. Do you think the plan all along was to put Jack Giacalone out front to take the heat and have LaPiana running things behind the scenes given his ties to Jack Tocco?

Re: Detroit LCN 2025 and Future
So you're saying that Burnstein's scoop that the family now had zips beyond just the D'Annas themselves was in fact accurate?
My problem is I hate everybody.
