It's too bad some of these Chicago guys are gone as they were good posters. Snakes I see you note Paul 'Web' DiCaro (father of Martha) was NOT the same Paul DiCaro in this burglary ring, which may be accurate and my source is off (he's the nephew of Gallichio). Below is 'Web' DiCaro on the right at St. Joseph's Club, which my source is a member of today.
If anyone is interested, the St Joseph’s Club, today located at 28th and Union in Armour Square, was founded in the 1920s as the Southside chapter of the Società San Giuseppe di Tèrmini Imerese. As I noted in that above-linked thread, while the DiCaro surname originated in Caltanissetta, the DiCaros also had ancestry in Tèrmini, like the Carusos and the LaMantias, and members of rhe different branches of the DiCaro family have been members of the St Joseph’s Club since way back. Beginning in the 1950s, I believe, the Society opened its membership to Italians of any background, and to this day is largely composed of multi-generation families from the Bridgeport-Armour Square-Chinatown community.
The latter day address of the Club, at 2724 S Union, was in long past decades the location of the Hickory Pit BBQ restaurant, which I believe closed in the 1960s. The Hickory Pit was alleged to the FBI to have been backed by Gus Alex. In 1955, longtime Jewish outfit associate Alex Greenberg, once a personal friend of Frank Nitto, was shot to death by two gunmen while exiting the Hickory Pit with his wife and daughter. It is presumed that this hit was related to the fallout from the 1947 Hollywood Extortion case, as Greenberg was murdered several months after the killings of Chicago members Charlie Gioe and Frank Maritote; Gioe had been living at Greenberg’s toney Streeterville hotel the Seneca, along with Chicago mob powerbroker Sidney Korshak, at the time of his murder in the summer of 1955.

I don't know what exactly it is, but I cannot stand this guy.
Some of the really weird, random stuff he does (like having a conversation with a statue in that one video) makes me chuckle but I just can't get past the rape thing. That girl is gonna be messed up for the rest of her life.

There's another club right around the corner from St Josephs Club too
Correct. Sant’Angelo Muxaro, another old Southside Sicilian fraternal society. I’ve mentioned this organization in the past as Jimmy Catuara was a native of Sant’Angelo Muxaro, Agrigento, and his relatives were active leaders of this Society.

Chinatown/Cicero Crew member Anthony 'Tony G' Gallichio in prison.
Gallichio was involved in Richard Mara's 1973 failed hit on a government witness against Paul DiCaro and Ronnie Jarrett (Ronald Brown) who was taken for a ride and shot, then survived. This was basically the exact same pattern as Joe Eto's failed hit, though somehow gets less attention. Mara would become an informant quickly thereafter, while DiCaro, Gallichio, Gurgone, Jarrett and several other members of their burglary crew would all serve time. I'm told there are several Gallichios (John, James) who are/were affiliated through union jobs and/or burglary and gambling.
Paulie DiCaro is still alive and kicking. He’s in his 80s. He was the manager of Cafe Bionda before it changed ownerships a couple of years ago. He’s close with Fratto from my understanding and was also very close to Porky Pordyla before he died. He was also questioned in Jarrett’s murder.
Per my source - there are two different Paul DiCaro's from Bridgeport who are related - Pauly and 'Web.' Pauly the owner of Cafe Bionda is a relation of 'Specs' DiCaro. There is a Pauly 'Web' DiCaro who died in 2007 and was a member of the Cicero crew along with Anthony Gallichio. Pauly who owns the restaurant was not a rough guy from what I'm told but was related to quite a few.
You’re right, he was not a rough guy in terms of violence but a very respected guy to this day who people still would not want to mess with. He was burglar and operated some gambling games and was in Sam Carlisi’s crew despite being from Chinatown. He was actually the manager of Cafe Bionda, not the owner. Covid killed that place unfortunately and someone bought it after and kept the name. The same characters don’t hang out there anymore. Being so close to Chinatown and McCormick place brought in an interesting crowd. Paulie’s uncle was an outfit guy and I believe his father was too.
Paulie caught caught up in the Balmoral race track heist which led to Peanut Panzko to snitch. Duke Basile also snitched on him in that case.

I've said this before, but I still think Mags was saying things in those interviews to protect his old buddies. Stuff like outfit has no hand in gambling anymore since it's legal things of that nature. Also, he was one of the first people to hint that Gary Gags may have had more clout than we realized. As I recall he seemed spooked to talk about him along with a few others.
Yep. At one point, he was talking about Vena, and then the next week refused to. It really seemed as though somebody said something/threatened him.
Didn’t Panozzo Sr confront Mags and Fosco and soon after Fosco basically stopped ANP? Panozzo Sr is a fucking psycho and his son fucked up two Mexican dudes at Output in August. Anybody have any info on Bobby Dominic? Dude is a true sleeper that seems to have pull in the city.

His father was robbing Mexican cartel stash houses too.
They have it out for the Mexicans.

Same. He used to answer any questions you had for him via email. I cant remember if it was in one of his videos but i asked him about Joey Aiuppa and if he had an any day to day cause he was out for year before he died and he told me no, he was basically locked out by the admin at the time and that he used to eat raw onions like apples in prison.
Raw onions like apples? Get the f*ck out! No way don't believe it.

Bobby Dominick is a super nice guy. I've definitely tied a few on with him and still have a ton of Richards free drink tokens (which are small, laminated pieces of paper) he gave me in a drawer somewhere.
