According to Casso’s book (highly unreliable but it’s all I could find about this), Albano was a crooked cop who had something to do with the French connection case. Albano and Pate were close and involved in the heroin business but Albano accused Pate of stealing profits. Pate killed him and then called Casso who took the body from him which was later found.

I'm gonna assume this list was made with casso given the info?? so they tried to kill joseph abinati in 1979 but kept his father in there crew till he died in the 90tys. also the son Joseph was uses in the California hit on dilapi. talk about being dedicated to the life

Abinanti’s death was ordered because he was kidnapping people for ransom and one of the people he kidnapped was associated to Chin Gigante so he asked them to kill Abinanti. The hit was given to Amuso and Casso. Amuso shot him but he survived and fled to California

Different person, the Lucchese associate Joseph Abinanti (son of Peter) was born ~1951. Not sure if is still alive but he was around various connected Las Vegas/Southern California pornography companies in the 1990s

This is the first time that I’ve seen Amuso’s name mentioned in relation to DeMeo’s murder but Amuso’s name appears next to Lee Schleifer as one of the participants but trial testimony from Tommy Carew contrasts this as Carew didn’t mention Amuso’s name when testifying about the murder of Lee

I still dont' understand how you go from Tony Ducks to Casso and Amuso. I know the logic with Corallo getting locked up and basically saying screw it, you can have it, but still. What a drastic change in leadership (which I think also reflects broadly across all families and is a product of how the times changed, ie Italian assimilation and increase law enforcement pressure).
