Incidentally, if anyone thinks parts of Claudia Iacono’s family tree are of any interest for our purposes, let me know, and I’ll post it — I finished a short while back, and you’ll be able to see how laughable the claims of her Calabrian ancestry have been.

I'd be interested in seeing it. I believe Nicolo Mr Sidewalk Milioto was their uncle.

Apart from Claudia Iacono's obituary, there were a couple of obituaries that were key to helping me construct a family tree in conjunction with the marriage records, death records, and cemetery entries I found. The aforementioned obituaries:

It should be noted that the deceased Gasparino Iacono's wife is a Lina Alvaro. Paolo Violi's paternal grandmother bore the Alvaro surname. In constructing a family tree for Antonio Mucci (Tony) at the moment, I discovered that one of his siblings married a Sciortino. So we shouldn't be surprised that one of Moreno Gallo's sons married a Iacono.

Thanks Anti, very interesting. Could be wrong but I believe Claudia's mother, Concetta, is the sister of Dorotea Milioto, the wife of Nicolo Milioto. Always so fascinating seeing how all these families are connected to one another.

You're welcome. And your hunch, which I also had, is very likely right.

Below is what I believe to be Mr. Sidewalk's Quebec marriage record. The problem is, his DOB is different from what is posted on his online obituary on the Loreto site. There is also a minor discrepancy as to whether his wife went by the first name Doratea or Dorotea -- the former might be how the clerk (mistakenly?) spelled it on the marriage form and the latter is what appears on Milioto's obituary. Online condolences address his wife as Dora, though. See http://www.complexeloreto.com/en/obitua ... o-milioto/, where you'll be able to scroll through online condolences posted by both Cristina Iacono and Melissa Iacono referring to Milioto as their uncle -- Cristina and Melissa are also the names of Claudia Iacono's sisters per Claudia's obituary.

In any case, I think that Milioto's wife is Doratea/Dorotea Zambito, a sister of Claudia Iacono's mother. A Francesco and wife Elsa are also mentioned in the obituary, and a marriage record for a Francesco Zambito and Elsa Maria Goncalves De Melo Paulino shows his parents having the same names as Claudia Iacono's mother.

Multiple searches are happening in Montreal today as an end stage of a drug trafficking investigation. The Gazzette and JDM have revealed names arrested today, 37 year old Martin Dazé and 30-year-old Cédrik Cazzetta-Parent. In the March 2022 searches that took place, one of the residences searched belonged to Martin Dazé. In the articles that came out following these 2022 searches, Martin Dazé was said to be close to Montreal and South HA members, including Martin Robert and also close to Giuseppe Focarazzo. Cazzetta-Parent was arrested in 2018 with New Brunswick HA Nomad president and former Quebec City HA, Emery "Pitt" Martin.

There were also raids in Quebec City and Levis this morning that targeted a drug trafficking network. One of the men arrested is said to belong to a outlaw motorcycle gang. Looks like at least 2, maybe 3 drug trafficking networks are targeted this morning.
