Billy Angelesco was one of the most active members in Medford/Revere and he's away doing his time.
He was actually released back in February.

I just made up my Tony Parrillo reporting? lol.

My sources could possibly be wrong i suppose (i've seen nothing to this point that says that), but i didn't make anything up. Just because other sites, outlets don't report something doesnt mean it ain't true. I've beaten several major mainstream media outlets to the punch in the past decade.

There's still a book with maybe 4 factions in Boston and I have no idea in RI. I think that's it. Half the list of 50 is washed up and long gone and it way, way closer to 20-possibly, possibly 30 active made guys in the whole family.
Where are these 4 Boston factions/crews based and whos running them?

Anyone know how many crews the family had historically and where they were all based? I've skimmed through old threads on New England but can't find much on the crew breakdowns. If anyone can point me to a good thread on this I would appreciate.

I remember reading somewhere that Federal Hill had 3 crews alone at one time but don't know if this is correct.

4 Captains in Boston and 2 or 3 in Providence was their historical number up to the early 1990s. Don't know what it is now. Up to the 1980s they also had a Captain in Worcester and another one is Massachusetts but they were gone by the 1990s.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

I'm sorry Scott, you're right, I shouldn't have said that. I only meant no one other than you had claimed it and other sources contradict your articles, but that obviously doesn't mean that what you wrote is untrue. I ought to be more tactful whenever I post these, and I actually have a lot of respect for you and your work. Sorry for being insensitive.

Hey Guys, when I wrote "there's still a book with maybe 4 factions" I was talking about the sportsbook, not crews. I completely agree there aren't 4 crews in Boston. You can bet into the NE family's network in South Medford, the North End, Revere, and East Boston...definitely north of Medford.up 93 for awhile too. There used to be action west of the city under the family as well but its been a long, long time since we've heard anything about that.. Pretty sure you could bet in Everett, too. Awhile back there was a post and I swear it was from TJ or Sittite but I can't find it....anyway, it was just saying that if you bet around town that money still finds its way into those factions of the book and that as much as people think things change, they don't really...I was thinking and agreeing with that post when I wrote that. Who knows how connected these parts are or how separate they are with these guys...I think that's anybody's guess at this point ..

Best Regards,

mr. white

What I have a hard time believing is that the Providence faction is that active…how old is Lato? Matty is an alleged Capo, correct? Captain of what? How many made guys underneath him, how many crew members?

I think I agree with you again here if I'm reading your tone right that you don't see evidence of "very much" in RI...the only thing reported for years are younger potential guys turning down the button and those guys are in their 50's. The best read I get after watching this for a long time is that Matty and Eddy are the top two guys left in RI, what thats called changes with current eras and family politics, prison, health status but there dont seem to be any other made contenders there.

I’m
Not saying it’s not true…but correct, not seeing any evidence of RI activity. When I say activity, I’m referring to meetings between mobsters, wiretaps, actual rackets….Bookmaking is bookmaking, is there a hierarchy in RI?

Yeah, you're probably right. If there is any hierarchy left I would assume it would go something like: Eddie Lato as UB/faction leader, Matthew Guglielmetti as the only capo in Providence, and then the soldiers under him. There's just not enough members for there to be more than a single crew I feel.

If I'm not mistaken, Scarface Jenkins is part of Lato's crew. Along with Ricky D who was a Providence cop gone bad. Guilmette reports directly to Matty based on reports. But I dont think hes ever been " under anyone ".
