Ive taken a break from the charts since mid May. I'm back in full force, finishing up Tampa, after that I'll wrap up this 1980's one. This is the one that started it all and sent me down the 1963 looking glass.

The 1963 Gams is also mostly done but I have to go through and redo the text.

Samuel's parents were Frank and Amalia who was a widow by 1910. Frank was born in 1866 and arrived in 1892 which doesn't list where he is from. Maybe the cousin there'll be better luck.

Bari Peter
I couldn’t find anything on a Peter Bari but Pete Barry was a nickname.

(https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.htm ... lPageId=58)

“The true name of PETE BARRY, previously carried as a soldier under Lombardozzi, was determined to be Frank Palmieri.

Noticed the 1950s censuses are starting to make it into the databases. I don't think most of them are in there yet, but it will be a lot easier to research later guys (i.e. made in the 1970s-80s) once those are easily accessible. The separate site they set up for the 1950s census is nice and all but I found it almost impossible to use.

Tassone Anthony
He’s another Trenton member, I had never heard of him before either. This was his information:

ANTHONY JOSEPH TASSONE, 54
DOB: 14 Aug 1926
POB: Trenton, NJ
F: James Tassone
M: Theresa Lamantia
W: Bertha Bradley

I’d guess he was in the Aurello crew like the other Trenton guys. He must have been pretty big too, a NYtimes article from 1975 calls him “the reputed head of the Trenton area underworld” (https://www.nytimes.com/1975/10/29/arch ... ncern.html)

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Question/favor- do you have a list of Gambino members who were murdered/flipped from the 1960's until 2000's? Only if you have it on hand, you don't need to go all out. I would appreciate it.

Thank you, Pogo.

Ok so that's about 30 members that they lost and could not be replaced. If this were the sole measurement we could say that the Gambinos forfeited about 30 members since the 1960's but that doesn't account for other things, if the books were reopened and they allowed for 10 new members or the making two member at Christmas I heard about. This isn't really my area. If anyone knows more please come in.
