Re: Gambino 1980 Hierarchy
Were you ever able to find Liborio Milito's origins? He named his son Louis after himself so can't figure out his father's name.
A bunch of Militos came from Sciacca and nearby parts of Agrigento, so would be interesting if he was another Agrigentino around Aurello/Gravano.

Re: Gambino 1980 Hierarchy
The thing is, a lot of names were listed on FBI member charts in the early 1960s but not listed on later charts. This of course implies that names like Vinci and Zoppo were found not to be made/not confirmed as made when the FBI scrutinized their own lists from the early 1960s using more valuable sources.JoelTurner wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 6:05 am Here are some members who should be added:

Chris, I´ve been out of the loop recently and haven´t been following close attention to these charts, but will they be finished some time soon (this chart and the 1963 Gambino chart)?

I couldn't find much on Giacalone.
Angelo Vinci is called a Gambino member in the Pennsylvania Crime Commission's 1980 report (https://books.google.ca/books?redir_esc ... me&q=Vinci)
Zoppo is pretty much a question mark outside of that one incident with Sam DeCavalcante.

Here's a member who should be added: Martin Carbone (1926) - Paterno crew
He was arrested with capo Joseph Paterno and Gambino soldier Frank "The Bear" Basto in 1985.
(https://www.upi.com/Archives/1985/04/21 ... 482907600/)
He was listed as a Gambino member in a 1989 senate report.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Here's a member who should be added: Frank "Butch" Miceli (1934) - Paterno crew
He was named as a member of the Gambino family in a 1982 House report.
(https://www.google.ca/books/edition/Fra ... frontcover)
He's listed as a member of Joe Paterno's crew in Nigel Cawthorne's The Mammoth Book of the Mafia
(https://books.google.ca/books?id=BQ7BBA ... no&f=false)
---------
In 1970, he was indicted with Carlo Gambino for plotting to rob an armored car. This seems to have been a mixup, I doubt Carlo appreciated being implicated in that mess.

Dont ruin this thread and consequently the chart by adding names that has never been confirmed made by the FBI as of 1980.

Re: Gambino 1980 Hierarchy
My apologies, I hadn’t realized that they had to have been named by the FBI. I thought that other government reports, like the House/Senate ones I shared above, were good sources.
