A lot of the National network exists in prison. Lots of these guys from different places meet and get to know one another while doing time.

What I have for the other remaining LA mobsters

Made:
Russell Masetta aka "Russ", "Rusty" (70)
Louis Caruso aka "Louie", "Little Man" (65)
Philip Dioguardi aka "Fat Philly" - may have died in 2001 but from the Breakshot blog it seems like he is still alive (74)
Michael Esposito aka "Porno Mike", "Batman" (~76)
Rocco James Zangari aka "Rocky Bigfoot" (~88, if still alive, never seen obit but most likely dead)

Suspected:
Robert Paduano aka "Fat Bobby" (~78, may still be alive in Orange County)
Leonard/Lennard Montana Jnr aka "Lenny" (70s, alleged bookmaker and member - mostly internet chatter)
Michael Russo aka “Sportsbar Mike” – bookmaker, Kenji Gallo states he was a fringe associate, probably not a member (age not known)
Paulo/Paolo/Paul Rossi aka “Paulie Tattoos” – alleged bookmaker and member, may not be Italian, referred to as “Tony Soprano of Los Angeles” (50s, still alive, membership likely also just internet rumor)
John DiMattia/DeMattia/DeMatte, associate during 1980s, LAPD informant, faked heart attack to avoid murder contract, possible alleged member due to affiliation with Zangari (late 80s ~87, may still be alive)

- also of note is that Gallo says Anthony Gambino worked for Joe Isgro at some point

Sicilian connections

Gambino
- Current ties to the mafia in Palermo, including sending emissaries and transferring members.
- Agrigento mafia leader met with his compaesano Gambino captain D'Aquista in early 2000s. He was recorded discussing this later.
- Sicilian faction member Semplice travels to his family's native Porto Empedocle though nothing has surfaced about contacts.
- Felice said an unknown Gambino member from San Leone has ties, though this could be Semplice as San Leone is near Porto Empedocle.

Bonanno
- Current ties to the mafia in Castellammare and Sciacca.
- Sciacca Family member has slot machines in NYC in apparent relationship with Bonannos.
- Montreal Cattolicensi (whatever their status) in the same slot machine operation with Ribera Family in Canada.

Lucchese
- Current captain Paolo LoDuca is a Palermitano zip. Italian authorities indicated LoDuca transferred from the Sicilian mafa.
- Felice revealed another captain is a zip from Torretta, Calogero Davi, who has close ties to the Gambino Family and Sicilian mafia.

Tampa
- Stefano Raffa was a zip close to Sicilian mafiosi but died in 2000.
- LoScalzo was born in Alessandria della Rocca like Raffa though his Sicilian mafia ties are unknown.

Rockford
- Close relationship to Aragona, still importing younger Sicilians in the 1980s. Current status/contacts unknown.

New England
- Biagio DiGiacomo is from a Sicilian mafia clan in Aragona. Unknown if he's active but he must still have ties back home.

DeCavalcante
- Presumably still has close relationships to their sister Family in Ribera, as they did when Rotondo left the streets.

Detroit
- D'Anna brothers are related to a Terrasini Family leader.

Los Angeles
- Tommy Gambino's father and relatives are Sicilian mafia members/leaders in Palermo.
- Sciacca boss Dimino recorded discussing putting slot machines in California but didn't specify where.

Philadelphia
- Gambino-connected Sicilians were recently arrested in Philly area, unknown what if any contact they had with the local Family.

Buffalo
- The Todaros visited their native Agrigento when Joe Sr. was an old man and they have ties to relatives there. No evidence of a mafia relationship.

- Gambino member Isgro lives in LA and is close to Tommy and Tony Gambino.
- Colombo leader Montemarano was business partner of Tommy Gambino while living in LA.
There was also NYC families who reached out to LA in 2017 to get Iavarone made.

-Sciacca boss Dimino recorded discussing putting slot machines in California but didn't specify where.
For what it's worth, he also said Texas.

Marijuana possession, sale, and manufacture are illegal under Wisconsin law.

Yeah, there hasn't been a mob case out of Milwaukee in nearly 40 years. The 1993 FBI list had 14 names on it but 3 of those were Madison member and about half of the 14 names had died prior to 1993.

In addition to Gambino, Masetta, Caruso, Esposito, and Zangari are made. It was never really clear if Dioguardi was made in the LA family or was with the Colombos but, either way, I believe he is dead. None of those other guys were ever confirmed to be made. Always a lot of forum speculation but nothing concrete. Kenji never ID any of those names as made either. From what I recall, Paduano was on his way to his induction ceremony but it was cancelled for fear of surveillance and it never took place.

Let me ask you a serious question. Do you recognize the names Michael Rose & Michael Peters? Take a second and go down that rabbit hole. Humor me.

I’m not suggesting that Mr. Ferraro is made or associated, but let me know what you find out about the two Michael’s.

People might be more open to what you have to say if you'd just say whatever you think you know instead of telling everyone to "go down the rabbit hole" acting like whatever article comes up when you google those names proves anything.

I believe DiLeonardo heard something about Antonio Gambino getting made in LA. Wouldn't include him on a definitive list but he's a good bet. If these small dying Families have brought in new members most would probably be relatives and Tony Gambino is part of a clan where basically every male gets made.
For what it's worth, he also said Texas.
Yeah, he might have been throwing out random places or maybe the Sicilian mafia has contacts there. We can see from NYC and Canada the slot operation used local contacts, so if he was serious about CA and TX I'd guess he knows someone there. Not necessarily a Sicilia mafia "cell" or anything, he could just know someone in Texas with access to bars / clubs where they could put machines.

Good list. I’d add the LoBue brothers, who are reputed current Chicago members from Trabia. Possible Chicago associates the Salamone brothers were born in Cinisi. Chicago had Sicilian Cosa Nostra members/affiliates at least in the 1980s/1990s, though it’s unclear where exactly in Sicily they were from (I suspect ties to Cinisi and Corleone).

Thanks for clearing that up about Dioguardi, his affiliation with LA/Colombo brothers always seemed a bit fuzzy

Not completely. A good resource in many ways but not all the names are made.
