Richard Turchiarelli is Lou Turchiarelli's uncle. Richard (who is now 74) was indicted in for beating Long to death along with Gerace the Vegas blackjack dealer, Gramaglia, Bob Grisanti and other PBD officers. He was 30 at the time of his manslaughter trial.

Remember, Lou is an ex boxer who served time for extortionately collecting a 18k gambling debt from a man in Rochester in 2006. Additionally, he had been in a fight with Marc Panepinto just a year or so prior. At the time of his felony charge The Buffalo News indicates he was living at his father's residence on California Street in Buffalo. Rumor is Lou continues to be an enforcer for the Gerace's gambling operations. (Anthony Gerace's plea deal mentioned an ex boxer being involved with them.)

But before his Wednesday show at Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Brown asked for help finding the best wings in Buffalo from WGR 550's Nate Geary and me.

The pit wings at La Nova’s West Ferry headquarters – fried, dunked in barbecue sauce and finished to caramel crustiness on the char-griller, were the reason our posse was there. Todaro said Brown had to try his medium, too, and presented an order.

That, as it turned out, was the chicken wing that made Brown eat crow.

I swear Todaro get's the best press... He must be the best of the best restauranteurs, cause he only a pizza maker and wing purveyor. Right?
