December 27, 2021 — Florida Outlaws Motorcycle Club power Preston (The Gorilla) Perry pushed a philanthropy campaign throughout the northern part of the state, collecting hundreds of coats for the homeless and almost $2,500 to foot the bill for three down-on-their luck families to have holiday feasts on Christmas Day.

“Gorilla” Perry did an interview with the Pensacola News-Journal about his club’s charity work. Some of the philanthropy was done in the Navarre area where the Outlaws have recently opened up a new chapter. Navarre is in Santa Rosa County in Northwest Florida, 25 miles east of Pensacola. Perry is a member of the club’s Pensacola faction, known as the “Gulf Coast” chapter. He owns Gulf Coast Choppers. More than a dozen Outlaws chapters and support clubs across North Florida participated in the good-deed effort Perry organized.

The Outlaws MC have long maintained a strangle hold on biker gang affairs in the state of Florida. The club was founded and is traditionally based out of the Midwest, but recent reports places leadership in the gang today residing in Western New York. FBI and DEA documents related to a mafia-connected narcotics and bribery investigation name Buffalo Outlaws boss John (Tommy O) Ermin the new boss of the Outlaws and ties him to the Magaddino crime family by way of his job as head of security for a local strip club owned by the alleged Buffalo mob don’s nephew.

I think this connection is a stretch but here you go.

I believe he was close to John Sacco Jr-at the very least we he received the murder contract from him when he hit “Big Al" Monaco.

Very interesting finds about the Coppolas, NC. The FBN has many errors when it comes to parent names and based on other records the Stephen you mentioned is the son of Vincenzo.

Curious that the name Puma shows up, as that's a common name in Castellammare del Golfo and we know the Buffalo Family's history there.

From what I understand Spatro was part of a mob related drug trafficking network and some of his hits were related to this. I will have to see if I can find the article(s) that mention this.

I appears that Lee Coppola is NYS/Erie County legislature representatives Marc and Albert Coppola’s cousin. See this second half of this post: viewtopic.php?p=211862#p211862

Marc Coppola is the son of David Coppola and Mary Vacanti. See: https://buffalonews.com/article_51b7aca ... fba79.html. His father David is the son of Vincent Joseph Coppola who is Lee’s uncle.



[The Buffalo News describes Al & Marc as cousins but I haven’t run that connection down yet.]

@B. You are right it is interesting that Lee’s mother is a Puma. Hunt indicates Magaddino and a Francesco Puma were part of the good killers. Also indicates an Angelo Puma from Castellammare roomed with a Mazzara in Buffalo before going back to Italy after the building which housed his closed and padlocked hotel in Buffalo which was firebombed. (However, Hunt is quick to point out in the footnotes that he never ran down a connection between the two Puma’s.)

Also thought provoking that Joe Geraci owned the soft drink saloon that operated on the 1st floor of the hotel. Lee Coppola’s great grandmother was Rosa Geraci (b. 1847 in Sicily, d. 1914 in Buffalo, NY). I can’t help to wonder if the Geraci’s in Coppola's family tree are related in anyway to the Gerace’s in the news today. (Probably not, but it never hurts to look into it.)

Finally, I find it intriguing that there are Vacanti's in the Coppola family tree. The Vacanti family name has long been tied to mob related drug trafficking in Buffalo. Makes the Bongiovanni/Pierri/Alessi comments on the Monty Masimmi obituary I pointed out a couple years ago even more interesting.
