Court documents revealed that in 2020 there was a meeting at a Brooklyn restaurant about the new boss of the Colombo Family which was supposed to be Teddy but it was also decided that Andy Russo would continue as the boss until Teddy would take over.I think it may have had something to do with parole as to why he couldn’t become the boss immediately.A bit similar to the situation in the Lucchese Family with George Zappola and Michael DeSantis

George is of paper now but turned down the Acting Boss position because he was comfortable in Jersey.George was very close with Gaspipe.He is an Amuso loyalist.DeSantis was inducted by Vic in November of 1989.George’s father was involved with the Genovese Family and then was later killed by them.Gravano talked about it on his podcast.
