Yeah back in 2005 a DA in South Florida had Farese as a captain. Doesn't mean he was though. I think he's a reluctant member of the Colombo OC family. His loyalty runs deep.

Mush is allegedly suffering from dementia.Cacace in my opinion just deserves it more than anyone else.He should definitely become the new boss

Cacace is a throwback to the wild days of the Colombos - I mean just look at his resume. Murders of two NYPD cops, the carnini brothers, hit on federal prosecutor, two shootouts with greg scarpa sr (cacace later switched to persico side), the variale and santora murders, etc.

Historically too much of a hot head - will be a lifetime target for the feds just off the fact hes not serving life and he went after law enforcement. Cacace is apparently quite close with captain Luca Dimatteo, older brother of consig ralph dimatteo.

It'd be quite the ruse since they have conversations between DiMatteo and Ricciardo mentioning how forgetful Russo is and how they wanted his son to sit in conversations as a 3rd party.
