You guys need to go read the article again because Jerry clearly states in each of those pieces that what he wrote was based on the 121-page filing (which he stated) along with 500 plus pages of transcripts which I'm guessing were podcast transcripts. It's clear if you read the article that he didn't watch the podcasts - that he got the information from the filing.

No one here believes ole jerry is reading 100 pages of court docs let alone 500.

Just FYI in case some of you don't know how motions are laid out. There is usually and index at the beginning which highlights all the various points included in the filing. So, perhaps Jerry looked at the index and then read the parts he wanted. I don't have a copy of the filing or the transcripts so I have no idea what's in it except for the information Jerry provided in his column. Nor do I have the time to read any sort of court documents no matter whose they are as I'm knee-deep in various projects (I know you guys will comment on that so have at it)...so dream on, boys.

But what I do know is that the filing is on Pacer and accessible to anyone so you can see the index for yourself as I'm 99.9 percent sure that it's laid out that way as 99.9 percent of large motions are.

Thanks for posting. I agree that the last item about Pennisi was pretty wack but the first one was intriguing. Could Crea and them really get their verdicts overturned because of these rats running their mouths on podcasts? I don't have a lot of sympathy for Crea and Madonna considering they're career criminals but that case against them was pretty foul. It doesn't seem likely to me that they'll actually get new trials out of this but I'm not a lawyer.

I’m not gonna go all mafia student here but the evidence of Crea being involved in meldish murder is dubious at best. Pasqua who the government wouldn’t used and said was wrong said on vlad that Crea jr (sorry mafia student) told him that “dad” knows about it. Only other person was this but evangelista who claims londonio told him after londonio denied it to people he knew really well. If you wanna say ends justify the means he deserves it either way fine but that’s not the way the justice system is supposed to work and that’s very shaky evidence for a murder. Besides the fact as someone else mentioned he was identified as underboss so he’s culpable either way.

It's in the book what Pasqua said about "dad" knows about it. I don't know if you're saying I was disputing that but that is the book what he said. So, I just might be reading your comment wrong (the sorry mafia student is what's throwing me.)

I still dont think it's going to be overturned and I find it hard to believe Maddona and Crea didnt know about it, but I think if anything overturns it's their current argument. It's a pretty big hole in the government's case, dont know if it's enough though.
