Crazy all those made guys from the bonannos and even colombos never wrtote a ebook or even went on a podcast. Joey damico from the bonanno family would be a great interview guy was made in 1977 and was around till what 2003 when they all fliped. He would have alot of storys and he was a manhattan guy

Yeah but suggesting his nickname “The Mook” he probably didn’t have a lot going on & just happened to be another John Pennisi, just with a few hits in his belt.Pmac2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 9:35 am Crazy all those made guys from the bonannos and even colombos never wrtote a ebook or even went on a podcast. If someone like Ori Spado has enough material to get a book published, I'm sure "The Mook" has enough content to get it done too.

I want Dino Calabro to pop up, or any made guy who have flipped in the 2000s.nizarsoccer wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 12:50 pmShellackhead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 11:44 amYeah but suggesting his nickname “The Mook” he probably didn’t have a lot going on & just happened to be another John Pennisi, just with a few hits in his belt.Pmac2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 9:35 am Crazy all those made guys from the bonannos and even colombos never wrtote a ebook or even went on a podcast. The list is endless. Is there are a reason made guys who flipped after the 2000s don't write books? You would think people like Massino, Frank Lino, Shellackhead would be bombarded with book deals all the time. Even Mikey Scars who doesn't shy away from interviews didn't write one. Only guy post 2000 who is writing a book seems to be Anthony Arillotta.Shellackhead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 1:09 pmI want Dino Calabro to pop up, or any made guy who have flipped in the 2000s.nizarsoccer wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 12:50 pmShellackhead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 11:44 amYeah but suggesting his nickname “The Mook” he probably didn’t have a lot going on & just happened to be another John Pennisi, just with a few hits in his belt.Pmac2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 9:35 am Crazy all those made guys from the bonannos and even colombos never wrtote a ebook or even went on a podcast. Simple. Because nobody cares about the mob anyone. It is very small niche interest. None of these guys are getting book offers now like the guys in the 1970s-1990s.

So how the hell does a guy like John Alite get 3 books published??? Is it literally just the thin Gotti connection? Ralph Natale got his book and it was published in 2017.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:04 pm Simple. Because nobody cares about the mob anyone. It is very small niche interest. Ronnie G's whole crew is in prison. He even gave up John Gotti's grandson on an arson and bank robbery but I think Gotti was already in for dealing drugs.Pmac2 wrote:So is anyone gene testified afainst or told on still in prison. Pretty sure he would have got like 10yrs give or take 2. He probaly be getting out about now probaly went semi legit and still be in the mob circle maybe a made guy one day. Probaly eats at him.

Your dreaming, The mob barely gets any coverage today. This last big Comlobo bust got like what, 3 online articles? Maybe a few seconds on local tv if that? Nobody cares anymore. You can count on two fingers the amount of time the mob got any national coverage in the last 10 years and even then it was scant coverage compared to what they were getting in the 1950s-early 1990s.

Yeah but many copies did their books sell? Also if I'm not mistaken 2 of those Alite books were self published.

The ROI on their book investments is their problem. I just want my books.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 6:21 pmJeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:54 pmPogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:04 pm Simple. Mickey Scars was asking wayyy too much for his story. This was back in 2015ish. Suspect some of the others the same.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:04 pm Simple. Not sure if you can delve into details, but who do you think is the most likely to actually agree and write their life story?sdeitche wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 2:35 amMickey Scars was asking wayyy too much for his story. I don't think there is any shortage of ex-wiseguys who want to write their stories, but I don't think many of them realize how little they would get as an advance unless they were some super high-profile name. I've heard of some wanting six figures. THat's hilarious, unless, again you were high profile. But at the stage, not many high-profile mobsters out there to tell their story.nizarsoccer wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:53 amNot sure if you can delve into details, but who do you think is the most likely to actually agree and write their life story?sdeitche wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 2:35 amMickey Scars was asking wayyy too much for his story.
