Don't know how close they were personally but Trucchio came up in Gotti's Bergin Hunt Crew.

Hootie talked about Ronnie Trucchio like he was the freaking terminator but he did say there was an incident once where Gotti Sr verbally abused Trucchio big time in front of a bunch of people.

ronnie was a street guy. the younger guys looked at him like he was god because he was official, he was respected by made guys because he was legit. a tough guy and an earner but just wasnt part of that "inner circle" gotti crew. he was from oz and was sure as shit a gangster but johnny carnig/quack quack/ tony lee/ jimmy brown/ corrozo ..those guys were jusg on a different level. trucchio was more gotti jr speed. if im saying it correctly.

All the old YouTube vids you can see Ronnie in the Bergin and the Ravenite, but he wasnt close to Gotti? How'd Tony Lee get so close to Gotti?
