-DeLuca was IDed as the UnderBoss in 2009 but when he flipped in 2011 he was listed as a Capo. So not sure when he stepped down.
-It is unknown who the current UnderBoss is. In 2011 it was reported the UnderBoss was in Boston.

Consiglieri:
Frank "The Cheeseman" Cucchiara/Bos (19??-1976) Died.
Nicolo "Nicky" Anguilo/Bos (1976-1984) Stepped Down.
Illario "Larry" Zannino/Bos (1984-1987) Imprisoned.
Joseph "J.R." Russo/Bos (1987-1992) Imprisoned in 1991.
Charles "Q-Ball" Quintina/Bos (1992-1998) Stepped Down.
Rocco "Shaky" Argenti/Prov (1998-June 2002) Died.
-Mark Rossetti/Bos (2009-May 2010) Imprisoned.
-It is unknown who the Consigieri was after Argenti died or if the family even has one anymore. Looking at everything that has come out there is a good chance that they don't.
If Rossetti was Consiglierie while he was a CI that's a really high level penetration by the cops. It's crazy that the fallout from him didn't lock the whole family up.

But it probably shows they were largely factional even ten years ago. If an NYC guy was an active CI and consig for even a year he would do a lot of damange cause he'd be with the admin almost daily.

Ironically, the insiders who "heard it on the street" have had as bad a track record as Wiki when it comes to the mob.

Anyway, over the years I've learned that two of the surest signs of a fake are 1) quickly getting defensive, and 2) playing the geography card.
the word insiders is too strong. To be fair how the fuck else is someone who might really live in a mobbed up neighborhood sposed to react? On #2 I would ask those persons to give details about the neighborhood. I get the private chat messages a people claiming to have lived in harlem and 9 out a 10 mention the same mafia walking tour highlights one finds in a dirty magazine. Tell me something that aint in the book.

Been inspired to go through some Patriarca stuff lately:

- An FBI report claims Michael Rocco took over as acting boss for Buccola in 1952. From a recorded conversation between Patriarca and Angiulo, it sounds like Rocco may have been the underboss under Buccola, but Rocco was shelved at some point and was reinstated in the family shortly before Buccola officially stepped down in the mid-1950s. By 1960 Rocco was a capodecina under Patriarca.

- John Bruno supposedly held a high-ranking position at some point as well but it's not clear what. The election of Buccola's successor was between Patriarca and Bruno, each supported by a different faction. The Commission told them that if Patriarca was elected boss, Bruno should be his underboss, and vice versa -- if Bruno becomes boss, Patriarca should be his underboss. However, Patriarca wanted to throw Bruno out of the family and refused to make him underboss, as he felt it would look bad to shelve someone after making them underboss. Anthony and Leo Santaniello supported Patriarca as boss, which might be why Anthony was ID'd in an FBI report as underboss by 1960.

- A "Vito" (Genovese, surely) on the Commission refused to support Bruno for the position of boss and said he would rather start over with no candidates than support Bruno. On another transcript, Patriarca talks favorably of Genovese and various conversations make it clear that Patriarca was very close with Tommy Eboli following Genovese's incarceration.

i gotta assume those santaniello's are related to the santaniello that's made with the genovese in springfield ma

My understanding of Matty Guglielmetti is that he was close to Junior Patriarca and his father as according to these article.

If matty g got all rhode island to himself and he knows alot of guy of what's left of there crew in Connecticut does he just start conducting handful of guys just to keep it going. Seemed like baby shacks was very content keeping it real small down there like 10 guys. Maybe matt g took a page from the bonanno or philly and just open the flood gate

Judging by the continual decline in numbers over time, it doesn't look like the plan is to make anyone. I don't think there's anyone left in Connecticut and there's only 7 members left in Providence. All in their 70's except for Manocchio who is in his 90's.

Manocchio had 15 years as the boss of the Patriarca crime family without any problems despite knowing Salemme, Flemmi and Deluca who were informants or government witnesses at different times.

That is rich since you literally post what you read on Wikipedia but claim it comes from "your friend who just got out of prison".

Those aren't from Wikipedia. They are the 7 remaining from Providence members identified for years, most of whom are now dead. A 2008 article cited 8 living members at the time. There is a clear and undeniable decline in membership in the area.

And you need to quit pretending you know diddly squat. Time and again, thorough research and going with official sources has proven incomparably more accurate and valuable to pretend local insiders like yourself who pretend to know what's up. You've got nothing to add so don't get all butthurt because nobody is interested in your fake online facade. Now get lost, phony.

You can add Albino Focarelli/63 as a possible member since he was identified as a proposed member when he was busted in 2011 (he got out in 2017).
