What’s his new name? You have to wonder where he gets his info from. He’s very entertainingPolackTony wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 4:40 pm Looks like Boka is back on Reddit under a new alias. Posted a pic of Toots Caruso in church next to Danny Davis and Susana Mendoza lol.

He claimed that he got his info from contacts in LE and some connected people but wouldn’t elaborate further.

The toots pic is definitely the type of picture he would post, so doesn't surprise me. Sounds like he may have had multiple new handles though i haven't been paying too close attention to that sub lately.
At the risk of another days long analysis of a random reddit poster that i dont really care much about, he claimed that one of his big sources is an Outfit guy's relative who works as a south suburban cop. I believe he insinuated which guy, but will not spread anything in the event that it is false.

Not sure if any of the non Chicagoans in here follow the local news, but a guy named Timothy Nielsen was just arrested and charged with multiple accounts of attempted murder in Logan Square. He tried running picnic goers over for, in his words, being annoying yuppies. It's an odd story.
Even odder, a local beat reporter just said that he did federal time about 20 years ago for slashing a brothel worker's face for being late on a juice loan. Anyone ever hear of this guy?

To be fair, given the last couple of times I went through Logan Square (which I have some of my earliest life memories of, as I lived on Diversey and Spaulding when I was 3-4 years old), I can understand why...funkster wrote: He tried running picnic goers over for, in his words, being annoying yuppies. J/k of course. I don't advocate violence even against insufferable hipsters/yuppies.

Sounds like the guy is pretty nutty. But I stand corrected, not brothel worker but owner of an escort service. Gonna dig around see if i can find the court docs.

Red saying that DiFronzo was an FBI informant in his live video today. Somewhere around 25-30 minutes in, he says that he went over his paperwork,

I’ve heard Royal Fox CC in St Charles might be partially owned by Sam Greco and the Ozinga family, not sure if it’s true but also hear they have some high stakes games there.
Anyone know if the Ozingas have known connections? I realize they are Dutch or of other Northern European descent, but given they’re the biggest concrete company in Chicago a connection would seem to be very possible.

Awesome thread guys. Question: Who was were the Marcello descendants and who was the Genovese soldier?Villain wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 11:44 am It is interesting to point out two important things regarding this project or should i say, regarding today's Chicago Outfit.
First, the whole theory regarding todays small number of active members is possibly true since we probably have between 10 and 15 members allegedly still being in action. Also, if we add the Cicero guys who were allegedly made by Sarno himself during the late 2000's, than we might reach the number 20, but we still dont have any complete evidence regarding this last statement.
Now, if we count all of those listed names, we have less than 70 individuals allegedly involved in all kinds of activities, meaning being active on the streets, in the legitimate world and in Chicagos system. Lets say 15 guys are made members and the rest are associates, and lets say that every associate has around 2 or 3 connected guys, a theory which leads to the second main point.
So the second point is that the Outfit is still alive to an extent in whatever form, meaning they either still have a top admin or they dont, and it seems that both factions are still in some "blurry" connection by still having gathering places around Chicago, often visited by younger criminals. Some say that one of those places is Da Lucianos in River Grove, and also some of my sources say that the so-called Chicago/Genovese connection is still alive considering some of their alleged ops with a certain and very well known Chicago company, followed by the recent picture of one of Jimmy Marcellos descendants together with a Genovese soldier.
So we are left again with two final scenarios...one is that the Outfit will be completely dead in 10 or 15 years from now, or they still have or will develop a new top administration that will lead the syndicate as one piece in the future, since all they have to do is make new guys or simply bring their closest of associates at the top of the organization and continue the almost non-existent and "cancerous" CN influence like in ancient times.
And re this whole thread: If Solly D isn't 100% "out", can we really confirm that Andriacchi is? How do we know Jimmy I is definitely in? And finally, what is making us think Toots Caruso is even semi-retired? (Not skeptical just trying to figure out the logic).
Re: Current Chicago Players 2020
I think since Sarno was convicted, nothing has been confirmed by the Feds. So basically the info that comes out from a few sources is thought to be close to what is really happening. You have a group of about a dozen names over the last 10 years associated with being top leaders of the Outfit. Exact titles are not really known. So its alot of educated guessing.InCamelot wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 2:46 amAwesome thread guys. Re: Current Chicago Players 2020
The Genovese guy in question was Lou Auricchio, who was in a photo with Mickey Marcello's kid Sam (IIRC) in the TAO nightclub in River North a couple years back (check the Genovese Mugshots thread, if you have access to it). Auricchio was in the process of moving to Chicago, apparently, before he died of Covid last year. This was supposedly because he hooked up with some Chicago chick, but the fact that he was socializing with an Outfit relative certainly raises some questions. Given Pudgy Matassa's family connections to a Genovese member, there is still presumably some basis for made guys from Chicago and the Genovese to be introduced to each other, if the need or desire ever arises (not that I have any reason to suspect that the Marcello kid is even really involved let alone made, just that there always may be some context or other story lurking in the background).InCamelot wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 2:46 am

Regarding your second comment, Frank already responded. But virtually all that we have to work with today are best guesses and hypotheses. Scott B has of course been putting out claims about current Chicago stuff for years. While these also, obviously, reflect his own opinions and best guesses, Scott does have contacts both in local and Federal LE as well as Outfit circles, so for me, they should be an important part of the conversation at the very least. Scott has claimed that local sources claim that Vena, Inendino, and Caruso are the guys actually in charge of running the ship. "Involvement" is really a concept that has to be unpacked. Solly, I'm sure, is not "involved" in the sense that he is meeting with guys (apart from perhaps a liasion or two between him and the capos/active leaders) or directing operations, but my guess is that he retains a title (whether that is "boss" or the Accardo-style semi-retired senior statesmen, etc., role), and may be receiving some money from somewhere down the line. I don't think anyone really knows what Joey A's place has been for these last years. I believe that the inference that he is "out" of the picture may be due to the significant health challenges he's dealt with. Solly is old, but obviously still very active and energetic in his business and social life.
I'd add also that much of the thinking in this thread has been developed over the course of various threads and arguments over the years, so not all of the assumptions will be explicit. I always like to see new perspectives chiming in, so I would encourage you to push back if you see what seems to be an unreasonable or unsupported claim, as well as to put in your own contentions or hypotheses.

Another possibility is that Chicago got permission to transfer some Genovese guys out here to help fill the youth gap that the Outfit allegedly has. Remember about 15 years ago they had some Bonanno guys running Arnie’s in Harvey? That place was more than just a strip club. It was a straight up whore house. I would love to get the inside scoop on how they ended up out here
