Shit happens it doesn't make you any less of a man but its your response that people will watch for. If its a made guy and you're not you gotta take it in stride.
Nino Gaggi caught some neighborhood teens whistling at his sister in law, and retrieved a hammer to go teach the kids a lesson. One of the kids, a golden gloves boxer, ducked Gaggi’s hammer swing and knocked him out clean with a left hook, breaking his nose. This is like ‘75, ‘76, when Gaggi was a captain. Picture that—a freaking 17, 18 year old kid knocking out a Gambino captain with one punch in front of the whole neighborhood. They kid fled town for Florida for several months. He eventually came back and Gaggi and DeMeo killed the kid like 16 months later. Took a couple tries but they got him.
I’ve heard that story a bunch of times. First time though that I heard he was just a kid. Dominick Montiglio said he grew up with ‘Vinny Mook’ and at that time Dominick was nearly 30 years old.
From LCN bios

Vincent 'Vinny Mook' Governara (34y) (June 12, 1976)

Grande got into a physical altercation with fellow Philly mob soldier Joseph (Joey Punge) Pungitore in a prison yard over Grande’s allegiance to Scarfo in 2008, per FBI memos. Pungitore allegedly told Grande that he better get with the program and get into the modern age, that Merlino and Uncle Joe Ligambi had the keys to the kingdom, now, not Little Nicky.

Didn't joe bilotti (Tommy's brother) ko Robert Pate or was it John? Also I read that corky vastola of the decavalcantes was good with his hands. And I can't remember where I read it but Paul castellano slapped or punched another member when he was in prison after appalachin because the other member was crying or moaning about being pinched.

Yea, That was hilarious , And wtf are you making a guy who gets totally abused and beaten?? Thats another situation where there were talks and sitdowns over Radice and basically the Bonannos just told the Gambinos fuck u we're gonna get him anyway like many situations where no one respects the other side and guys go unprotected and no one does shit
Radice probably paid for his button. The then Bonanno consig Simone Esposito proposed Thomas Carrube for 10k to protect him from Lovaglio.
Your probably right, I wouldn't doubt it
