Any info on Ernest Muscarella?
Especially pre-administration era? He hails from the Bronx, part of the 116th crew - but is there any info on his activities when he was younger?

Any chance he was Purple Gang?
Re: Any info on Ernest Muscarella?
I'm sure his family was involved maybe the dad and brother.
Re: Any info on Ernest Muscarella?
Muscarella is only a few years younger than Prisco and Leo right? If he got his start with 116 he might have been a member? Never seen that mentioned though.
Re: Any info on Ernest Muscarella?
Per indictments I know he was named as a Capo as early as 2004. This was something to do with a guy named Carl Carrara who ran Locals 14 and 15 for the Genoveses, but ended up flipping. It was a big indictment for a Museum of Modern Arts building that was being constructed worth around $400M. Muscarella got indicted with Louis Moscatiello and a bunch of other guys. He got five years in that case.
He was also listed as acting street boss in 2002 per here:
http://www.ipsn.org/characters/gigante/2002jan23.htm
He was involved in the Orex mining pump and dump stock fraud scheme in 2006. Somehow he was named by the SEC but was pinched for it by the feds with Cafaro.

Thats about it I mean he rolled with that 116th crew which is serious as a heart attack which is of past and present of some of the guys:
Bellomo, Cirillo, Dentico, Falcetti, Fiumara.
I also remember reading an article he once was one of John Buster Arditos associates, but cant recall it.

If so, Muscarella, Chin, and Quiet Dom were all amateur boxers at one time.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 11:53 am This has to be him no?

If he was acting boss by 2002 I wonder when he was made. Him being an associate of Buster Ardito would place him as a Bronx guy eh? Although I think Ardito wasn't 116th crew-wise right?Tonyd621 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 11:19 am Per indictments I know he was named as a Capo as early as 2004. I'm curious about his early years who proposed him for membership etc

Oh I guess he wasn't necessarily an Ardito crew member as an associate then
