And if he’s telling a story second hand, for instance the dust up at the social club with the Bonannos, he will say several times throughout the story “now I wasn’t there so I don’t want it to sound like I know for sure...”. Also thru 3 clips with this same interviewer, I’d say the 2 guys he’s talked about with the most admiration were Mannino and Cali.

Whatsapp does have end to end encryption for voice and text, and that was a big reason as to why it was so popular (along with it eliminating the need for calling cards and long distance for international calling) before it was purchased by Facebook... so even though it's a little egregious, I can see why someone would think it's 'secure'... that makes sense.

What doesn't make sense is that a grown adult is able to run businesses, run a crew, run a sportsbook, own property in the most expensive city in the country, maintain relationships, etc. while thinking that the FBI only has one dedicated agent for all 5 LCN families. It's astounding someone with that type of sense can be so successful

True, what’s crazy is years ago the whole Montreal crew with Vito all used blackberry bbm messenger at the time to communicate, because it was encrypted.... like I guess they would straight talk about everything on there even murders... I guess whatever the Canadian version of the fbi was pissed as fuck cause it was all encrypted and basically contacted research in motion who made blackberry and basically told them you guys either unencrypt the bbm
Messages or were basically indicting all of RIM. And the company folded and gave in... so you’re right, at one point encrypted chat obviously did work.. but this day and age.. I wouldn’t trust anything... besides maybe encrypted military radios... my friend had a set that were worth like 5 grand a piece that special forces used, full encryption... but they were so complex that he had to seek someone out that was capable to even program them.. the range on them too was insane...
Lol about guys being literally half retarded and still being able to make a ton of money, trust me I knew one of the worst... this Lebanese guy I used to know had the craziest pull connections fall in his lap, straight from the factory... unlimited sealed 500 pill bottles of Norcos and Xanax bars and unlimited 100 pill bottles of perc 30s.. and this was like 10 years ago... like I said shit fell in his lap, he didn’t even know what the fuck each pill was.. but after like 6 months he was driving brand new lamborghinis, rolls Royces, amg Mercedes, Aston matins.. guy would have legit 4 cars at a time.. he had a crazy good run for being so dumb, he would discuss everything over text or phone call on his personal iPhone, didn’t even own a burner... and he lasted for like 8 years straight... until he tried to send 3 kilos of dope to Ohio and his dumbass rented the rental car in his own name (and we all know if California plates are spotted driving East across the United States your ass is gonna get pulled over and searched for trafficking everytime) then he paid some guys penny’s to drive it out there, of course they got pulled over, dope found, they flipped on him instantly ...

Listening to Part 4 now, and found one of his answers interesting. This is what he said when asked about the Philly members he met and any knowledge he had of their numbers:
