According to DS Dom Grande has been granted bail (200k)

Good, he should be allowed to fight his case from the streets.

I know Mazzone has a lengthier record but I’m kinda surprised Grande made bail before him.

Wow only 200k? I thought the bail would be higher.

I sure he'll get a full bail hearing soon.

Right? I was shocked at both the fact that they allowed him bail, and that it was only set at 200k...that’s nothing for a Rico fed case..

Good for Dom though, at least he can be with his family over the holidays...

It’s because of the virus and because he has no prior federal convictions. The virus has the feds hands tied with trying to keep first time offenders in jail.

Good point, though that probably doesn't explain the very low amount, does it?

Could be a sign that the case isn’t as strong as most on this board have thought. With that bail it’s safe to say that maybe he can plea out to like 5-8 years?

I think the only people these days not getting bail are rapists and murderers, you can literally break into someone’s home right now and make bail within a few hours.

I guarantee Stevie gets bail next after appeal. They got him on a gambling charge , Joey had one more Federal Prior than Stevie and even he got bail pre COVID. No way Stevie doesn’t get bail on appeal, no way

That makes sense, of course we'll have to see it all play out to know for sure.

It would probably benefit these guys to plead out during all this Covid madness. If I was McMonagle I’d say “congrats you caught my client bragging about “potential” drug sales 5 years ago and you haven’t got shit on him since. 3,000 people are dying every day from this plague, and it’s hitting the prison system harder than anywhere. Subjecting my client to these conditions on mere hearsay is absurd blah blah blah....”

Still feel really good about my 8-10 year plea deal prediction for Grande. Mazzone maybe even less.

McMonagle knocked it out of the park with his statement regarding getting his client released on bail.
