What kind of man turns the other way when someone kills your kid. Even if he was a junkie, he’s your kid you raised him, that’s partly on you too. Ridiculous.

I agree with you here. When I was the military in the shit bullets flying, thinking you will never make it home that brotherhood that bond you build is almost like a secret society bc no one else was a part of went you through together, its unpenetratable...

Patsy Parello also didn't seek revenge for his son being murdered. The Genovese hierarchy wouldn't allow it.

Patsy is a man's man. He should have wiped out the Locascio family.

as you know there are other informants that have said it wasnt Dom that it was Vinny and Dom on the sneak. Long argument so I wont get all into it but there was others that placed the blame on vinny/dom
Was there any talks of a sitdown between the Westside and Bonnano's because of the rumors or belief that they were involved that we know of?

By all rights, it was Patsy that should have went. He put his hands on a made guy. And not just any made guy, but one of the administration's son. Patsy and his brother Neil chased him all the way down Arthur Avenue that night. If anybody was supposed to get whacked, it was Patsy.
Almost on the heels of the Patsy-Tore altercation his son gets shot on Hoffman Street. Tore had a couple of ballsy Albanian guys around him. Now nobody knows the details of what went on except those involved, but I'd bet my life that that kid Mirdita was put up to it by those Albanians....now there's plausible deniability.....and when this whole thing goes before any admin, Patsy has "paid" for his transgression and was probably told to stand down. He knows the life. He can't go off on a sneak job. The powers that be probably told him that he was to do nothing in regard to Mirdita or Locascio. It's true that Patsy himself would have torn half those guys apart, but he was not allowed.

Patsy should tell those fuck you! Someone kills my son - I kill you. Tore was an asshole in Patsy's restaurant and he was right to slap him around. Patsy still has the contacts even though he is in the can. I'm shocked he doesn't send a hit team to wipe out Tore and Salvatore. And he could have the Aryans torture the father in the can.

Dom Cirillo is also a total scumbag. His son rightly kicked Vinny Gorgeous Basciano's ass who deserved it. because he was "made
the old man goes along with the hit on his son - what bullshit. You look at the assholes who worked under Scarpa, Sr. who thought he was the real deal. He fucking gave them all up to the FBi. Joe Massino as boss gave up his entire family when trapped. Fuck Cirillo.

Well, in the ultimate sense, they're all scumbags, no? But within a the context of LCN, especially when everyone laments how the old days are gone, everyone is a rat, and nobody holds to the code, Cirillo apparently did. If his kid raised his hands to a made guy, as Gravano said, "time to go."
All roads lead to New York.

Yea, they were really looking to whack him. Capeci reported that Victor Mirdita made himself “scarce” when they informed him of the alleged plot against him. Also, Jerry Capeci reported a while back that Victor Mirdita had been the victim of an assault and suffered “serious injuries” while in a protection unit of Rikers Island while awaiting trial for the murder of Parello’s son.

This isn’t 1955.
‘Putting your hands on a made guy’ isn’t a death sentence. Especially if it’s a fucking captain in the Westside.

I know it's not 1955....it's 2020 today and this happened in 1993. So what does that have to do with the rules? I just pointed them out. Quite obviously they WEREN'T followed through on, because an accommodation was reached where Patsy lost a son and was told that was the end of it. But ask Lenny Collotti what happened when he raised his hands to made guys in the Bonanno's...they came gunning for him. Ask Dom Cirillo's son who was supposed to have disrespected the office of Basciano JR and Cicale. People do stupid shit and get whacked. Today, yesterday, 1993, and in 1995. I don't quite know what your point is.
