It's a little bit embellishment, little bit jealousy, part truth, part lie.

The thing for me was what Mike DeSantis said about him. It most likely wasnt totally a Bronx vs Brooklyn thing. That was part of it, but it seems it was more so a, " let's not let ANY more top slots go to someone unqualified " type of deal.

Isn't it wild how the guys who co-operate with law enforcement and then go on to write books or do media interviews all just happen to be the toughest, the bravest, the smartest and the most committed to "the life" while the men who end up imprisoned at a result of their testimony always are cowardly, bumbling fake gangsters. It must be some crazy coincidence because it seems to be the case every single time.

Yeah I’m getting a little of that ‘I’m the only true Wiseguy, everyone else is a dope, not cut out for the life, everyone loved me, i was earmarked to be bumped up” etc etc etc bullshit from him. Beeeeeg grain of salt.
Same. My take as well.

Interesting to note the $10k per Capo due at Christmas to a boss who's been locked up for almost 30 years. Seems high!

Am wondering if the Colombos did it for Carmine Persico and if it continues for Allie (if he's the new 'official' boss, not sure about that mind you, haven't heard a lot about their new administration) - or if the Gambinos did it for Peter Gotti (I assume not and especially since he wrote that letter seeking clemency).

The people writing about steve crea being a innocent me hate this guy. They say hes lying about everything or close. He seems to me he really hates that guy big john. I also wonder what he got popped for to make he flip. It always gets swept. Crazy the family chages leaders and keeps chugging along. Whoever writes all that crea is innocent kinda swayed me. But it's to late. These judges never say they made a mistake. Very rarely

Pennisi said he used to be under a Genovese wise guy named Johnny Santora? Don’t know who that is, and he said he was going to do a piece of work on an associate of the Colombos with a Lucchese guy & that just paved the road for him to join The Lukes. He also said he got made in less than a year & can’t release the reason just yet...

I wonder what Amuso does with all the cash he gets from his capos. He’s locked up and there’s no way he needs 5 figures in his prison bank account lol.

That, and its a way of exerting/maintaining his influence on the outside.
