Like that would never happen here, ever...
Yea I’m pretty sure that was when the rizzutos had beef with A’micos or D’amicos...can’t remember the name but o remember that story lol crazy shit
Literally just think of how insane that is, that would be far fetched if it was in a movie.. those guys up there do not fuck around and have crazy blood feuds for generations... just think of the logistics of getting a helicopter and shooting an ak47 out of it ... they’re stone cold nuts up there. It’s like the wiretap of Delbalso ordering 2 fucking bomb proof fully armored suvs like it was nothing , he said the white Escalade was too flashy and they ended up getting a dark colored 4 runner and a Nissan suv... that’s like a couple hundred grand and they’re talking like it’s pennies... and just the fact they had several fully armored cars is crazy. You don’t hear or ny soldiers driving bomb proof suvs...
To be honest I think it’s fuck great lol. They definitely do not fuck around up there. I was thinking the same thing when I read about delbalso ordering those bullet proof bomb proof trucks. It seems like a lot of mob guys up there have bullet proof trucks and shit. Have you ever heard the wire taps of Vito calling around to get an associates stolen Escalade along with an important brief case? Lol he literally makes 2 phones calls and a few hours later his guys locate the truck and brief case.
Another thing too, it really does show how much respect and fear Vito had on the streets. No one dared fucked with them. Then he goes to prison and they try to wipe out his whole family ... for sure didn’t have the balls to do that when he was home obviously.. it’s crazy how to this day no one really is for sure about who’s even on what side it’s such a cluster fuck... another thing that’s crazy that I read was arcadi or whatever owed someone 1.6 million from a drug shipment ... like holy fuck. Those guys play on such a high level up there it’s insane...
another thing I’ve always thought was pure genius and so professional was the sniper hit on Vito’s father... talk about a perfect hit. Like it would almost be damn near impossible to get caught for that... so genius.. compared to walking up to someone and putting a few bullets in their head while they’re in their car... leaves so much evidence with cctv cameras and getaway cars... compared to laying in the fucking woods with a sniper rifle...like I said they play the game at a way faster pace up there... it’s the big leagues... makes USA look like wiffle ball
Dude it’s fucking insane the pull Vito had up there. It’s literally some shit you see in the movies. I just started getting into the Canadian side of things. I always had this view that everyone was soft up there and when I actually started looking into things I was mind blown. They DO NOT fuck around. They play on a whole different level. I wish there was more info out there so we could know who’s side everyone is on and who is ordering these killings. That hit on Vito’s father took a lot of balls and planning not to mention a good shot. They literally tried to pick his family off one by one and they were too pussy to do it when Vito was free. Think about the Sollecito hit they knew exactly what intersection he would be at and exactly what time. In American these guys do a hit and a month later everyone involved is locked up and guys are ratting on eachother lol
They even had that one guy hit all the way in Mexico!!!
In Canada arranging hits in Mexico is almost common. Lots of Canadians wacked down there, from the HA's, Italians, East Indians etc. Everyone is there, meaning so are there enemies.

I gotta echo this here... Consider....
Anti mafia recently posted some things from Del Balsos court records, first, that there was a group of Sicilian Mafiosi from all over Agrigento, also that there were 13 cells or crews, same in the Sixth Family.....

“• A classified chart prepared by the RCMP’s Criminal Analysis Branch maps out “Vito Rizzuto’s Criminal Affiliations by Kinship and Intermarriage.” It traces the marriages and blood ties between Vito and 10 other families, comprising some 40 people, most of whom form the innermost core of the Sixth Family. Almost all of them have family members who have faced drug arrests or other criminal charges and all of them have members who appear in criminal intelligence files as organized crime members or associates”

I believe to be Nick Rizzutos imported crew..

“Yet another confidential police report tracks the organization’s leadership in Montreal in 1997. It shows a spider web of lines linking “sub-organizations” and “henchmen” back to Vito and his father Nick. It shows 13 cells, each headed by a senior underworld player who reports directly to Vito. Another three key men are shown separately as also reporting to Vito.

This was confirmed recently by one of Renauds articles, describing the Montreal " cells" during the Scoppa instability.

Another four separate cells—the remnants of the old Cotroni and Violi organization,

This was explained in Ice also, the four crews...

including some of the most venerable mobsters in Montreal—are shown as reporting to Vito, with the now-deceased Frank Cotroni acting as an intermediary. Another four cells are shown reporting to Nick through Agostino Cuntrera. Other core members of the Sixth Family are noted individually on the chart, with most linked to Vito through Nick.”

To put in proper context, Capeci has the Luchesses at 7 crews. I assume they are bigger than the Colombos. So even though they arnt an officially, formally recognized mafia family, ( still don't know the details of Vito's peace talks with New York..) they might be close to double the size ( as far as manpower) as TWO of the NY families, not even having considered any financial capabilities or scope of their contacts and resources. To call them a" crew" is outdated....

One welcome evolution in the ongoing saga, it's becoming more apparent than ever that Sicilian mafia connection DO and DID MATTER! It baffles my brain that a Paolo Violi is seen as important as a Badalamenti, Salvatore Greco, Salammone, John Gambino. I can't even put him on the same level as Buscetta even though they were both technically soldiers. That's my other thing, Violi was really just a soldier, and his highest rabbi was the Cotronis. A capo, whereas the Rizzutos were in bed with ALL the bosses running the Cupola. To my eyes it's different leagues entirely, but I digress..

One more thought.....

If Sciacia doesn't get kicked out of Canada, and ends up on Mafia Row, is he the boss? Over Nick and Vito? Seriously? And I'm REALLY asking......

Great info CabriniGreen.

Did any of those source documents mention who the current or one-time leaders of those various clans/cells were?

I'm not sure if Antimafia has more detailed info in his files, but the closest we got is the Renaud article.... when he said the Hells were the strongest OC group. Then the Scoppas got hit and all the capos fell back in line......

I'll find the article for you.....

It's not a complete rundown, not all the cells are accounted for.......

He did make a point to say the Cotroni group was diminishing. And we know the Arcuri, who facilitated Montagnas reentry into the Montreal milieu, have retired.

I view the whole move by Zummo to establish what Montagna maybe started.... reform the Bonnano regime in Canada, but based in Hamilton now.....based on the Violis contacts, and Morenas....

Cool Post!

I’m in Gatineau which is close to Ottawa, I’m meeting with people from Montreal about investment opportunities. They have told me that the Bonannos definitely are in Montreal and it is related to Vito Rizzuto meetings after release. Basically, the Bonnanos are give the mobsters a peacefully platform of sorts to conduct business, not totally sure what that means.

Also, the cell structure of the crews in Montreal is very similar to how it’s done in Souther Italy, they all might be getting instructions from CN on the other side (Camorra, Ndragheta, Cosa Nostra) the real deal, a long with the commission like structure out of America. That’s the reason for the peace.

The hit on Sal Scoppa was a turning point as, the shooters were Zips from the other side, specifically Naples. They are now looking for leadership in Canada, that will represent this Super Cupola or Commission..

Also the hits on Giorgio Baressi and Pat Musitano, have further helped solidify this, specifically the Bonnanos in Hamilton. That they hits were done by a group close to Maurice Boucher, who has always been making money on the streets of Montreal and now in Hamilton/Ontario.

Mom Boucher was thrown out of the Hells Angels in March 2014, it sounds like his loyalties are still to his Don, Vito Rizzuto and whoever he would be with.

Lastly, I know the brother in law of one of the two guys that is still alive, from being with Pat Musitano, the day we was killed. These guys as late as February 2020, were telling me that Rizzuto wasn’t shit, now that he is dead. Sounded like, they didn’t care or feel they need protection that Rizzuto used to provided. I wonder if they feel the same now?

chubby wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2020 10:24 pm I follow some page on Instagram about the Montreal mob and they have a lot of good info... they’re so nuts up there.. I guess some guys were like gonna walk in and kill whoever , even Vito If he was in the consenza cafe or whatever , anyways that didn’t happpen but sometging did and the Rizzutos retaliated by fucking renting a helicopter and flew it above one of their rivals buildings and had a guy with an ak47 shooting out of the helicopter, how fucking insane is that????
It’s just insane to me.... I don’t know how people really try to act like the rizzutos were just an ordinary bonnano like the rest of the nyc crews... I would bet anything that Vito alone had more money than Massino...
Is there any ballpark numbers of what Vito was worth? I mean he had casino shit in the d.r. And literally ran Montreal.. like me and antcomrello were talking about earlier the armored cars and how Vito got that guys stolen Escalade back in like a day... to arcadi not paying the 1.6 million that was I think was one guys portion of profits on a coke shipment ... the control they had was just mind blowing... and they’re so low key no one even knows what the fucks really going on with the war, like there’s not a specific line drawn in the sand really to the 2 sides, or even more sides that are involved.. and didn’t Vito get a bulletproof s class Mercedes when he got released from prison and went back to Montreal??

Even how they had the mafia row shit, where like half the Rizzuto guys all owned mansions on the same street... crazy

Thank you so much for taking your time to share this information.... so when Vito was running shit his “bonnano crew” or the 6th family, literally had more crews than some ny families ? But like you said things up there are so different and unorthodox it’s so hard to really break down their “skippers” and soldiers, ect.. the only thing we really knew before Vito went away was who the like top players in the family were.....
I’m so fucking interested like did Vito and his father and whoever else have actual making ceremonies???? Like has there ever been any talk:rumors/ speculation about that???? I honestly feel they did make guys.... like that 5th estate tv show where the rcmp snuck a hidden camera in the back room of the consenza club.... you can tell the top dogs by how much they’re each double fisting as many stacks of cash as they can and shoving them in their socks
. lol I love how nick sr always had to take a second cut out of all the money “for Vito”, since he was away in prison... just in that show you see the sheer amount of money and activity that blatantly comes in and out of that cafe... not discreet in the least and couldn’t give 2 fucks.. but you had renda, arcadi, nick sr, they had close ties to the Cuntrera-Caruanas, Sollecito. Then you had lorenzo Giordano and delbalso who I know for sure they claimed lorenzo was under the wing of arcadi... either way delbalso and Giordano seem like a step below the guy I listed, yet very respected and seem to handle crews out in the street hands on... I know they weee muscle and actually carried guns all the time .. then you have like another layer lower with Domenico Macri, who was a delbalso protege and known Rizzuto enforcer...
It’s just crazy to me how there’s so many answers we will never know... literally it’s one of those things you get 1 answer and all it does is open up 10 more complex questions...
I’m just trying to keep it simple... like I said you could see the loose hierarchy I stated above... but the only real question I have now is if the rizzutos were inducting members, it’s something I’ve never heard discussed or co firmed before.... I feel like it has to be a must... you don’t have that many serious Sicilian immigrants who just keep this way loose organization with no structure... I honestly think it has to be different... they ran so effectively before Vito went Away and shit hit the fan that I think there would have to be a very rigid structure with a big respect on rank....

Not sure that's the "proper context" at all but reading you guy's back and forth, its like Little Joe Shots is back.

Seriously, who the fuck is " Little Joe Shots"?

Why the insistence on making everything about what happened in the past, with past posters no one even recognizes... at least I dont.....

All the info availible, SO many unanswered questions, and your mind is still focused on the Ghost of Forums past......lol

The "proper context", is that the Montreal " crew", is much bigger than a SINGLE crew. Even in the book Ice, going back to the Cotroni days, it says there were 4 cells.
We've put TREMENDOUS effort trying to identify the 20 made Bonnanos. I dont know if the same effort has been put into identifying Rizzutos imported crew.

I really dont know what you are talking about... the guys expressed a burgeoning interest in the Montreal sagas.... it's really too much info to out in one post...

I merely touched on the idea that they seem too powerful to be JUST a regime. I said similar things about the Inzerillos, that they didnt SEEM like a regular regime, and we see now they never were. NEVER relinquished hope of regaining their standing IN SICILY.

I've never understood why the Caruanas-Cuntreras family would be subservient to a capo like Cotroni. And the Rizzutos, to me have always been closer to Agrigento than Brooklyn.....

But this has been debated adnauseum, we still dont have confirmation details on Vitos peace talks. We dont know for sure if there was reconciliation. But I REALLY dont think ALL those Montreal guys are taking orders from a Damiano Zummo, or a Morena. Especially AFTER MASSINO......

Some more " Context". The Bonnanos were kept out the concrete club. Yet in Montreal they had like, 80% of the construction contracts. If NY could kept em out, or taken a piece, they would have. They muscled the Colombos, a five family, why not the little regime up north?

I'm bored, it's your turn... GO...LOL
