Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I would guess that quite a few people already have his file, considering he's been dead 30+ years.

How do guys from BB know for certain another ceremony took place? Were they there?

Good question. They would probably reply they heard about it on the street afterwards.JCB1977 wrote:mike68 wrote:Someone mentioned on GangsterBB that Marino and Scarpelli got their buttons recently. So there appears to be some sort of organization going there, especially with the Cheeseman there.

Things are low key for sure...At this point, Cheese DiNunzio will figure something out, they still have enough guys just may need to bump some up and make some new members. Somebody's paying somebody

Sorry to throw this here but when you posted that link Wiseguy it reminded me.
Am I the only one when I click on a link on here it takes me directly to it instead of opening a new tab? I would rather the link open a new tab if I click on it instead of taking me away from the board. Is that something I need to fix on my end or can Solai do it?
PS-Sorry for going off topic

Good question, the poster I'm referring to appears to be a knowledgable one historically but who really knows? It's not like you can announce it on the news. That being said, Scott B. had this on his site as well.JCB1977 wrote:mike68 wrote:Someone mentioned on GangsterBB that Marino and Scarpelli got their buttons recently. Back in March, an exclusive Gangster Report source in Boston speculated that younger-era New England mafia family figures Johnny Scarpelli and Salvatore (Tea Party Tore) Marino were on the fast-track to “made” status in the Patriarca mob syndicate with the release from prison of their underworld mentor, area underboss Carmine (The Big Cheese) DiNunzio. Now, that same source, and two additional ones, are coming forward and claiming that DiNunzio recently inducted Scarpelli, 41 and Marino, 38, and at least one other individual – believed to be related to DiNunzio in some fashion – into the region’s LCN (La Cosa Nostra – The American Mafia) syndicate in a ceremony that was overseen by reigning don Peter (The Crazy Horse) Limone and took place in the basement of a restaurant in the North End. Per these sources, acting boss Anthony (Spucky) Spagnolo and high-ranking captain Matthew (Good Looking Matty) Guglielmetti were in attendance as well.

Re: Patriarca family
Scott has reported that a providence guy got a bump up 2 capo and a couple Boston guys getting there buttons so I guess I am wrong . Sounds like there is still structure in New England
Does any1 know who the current captains are in the Boston area ??

Re: Patriarca family
There is certainly still a structure in New England as we've seen a former boss, acting bosses, and several captains and soldiers indicted in recent years.Eddie mush wrote:Scott has reported that a providence guy got a bump up 2 capo and a couple Boston guys getting there buttons so I guess I am wrong . That said, it's difficult to create a current chart because of all the fluctuation. In Boston you had Carmine DiNunzio as underboss, his brother Anthony a captain before becoming acting boss, Mark Rossetti a captain before he flipped, and Anthony Spagnolo indicted as acting boss which makes me wonder if he was a captain previously. Also Peter Limone appears to have been acting boss for a while.
Providence is really strange because there has seemed to be a lot of chiefs for the relatively small faction which has been said to have a little over a dozen members in recent years. Joseph Achille, Edward Lato, and Anthony St Laurent were all indicted as captains and Joseph Ruggiero was reported to be one recently (replacing William Delsanto according to Scott). Plus you had Manocchio as the official boss based there for years.

Still structure...but with no clear cut leader. I want to believe that PL is still in charge but I was told by a very good source (close friend of the family) that he is battling the beginning stages of Alzheimers. My best guess would be Carmen DiNunzio would be the top guy. I don't believe for a second that Baby Shacks is back in the game, especially with alot of his close confidants locked up or flipped. A dozen members on the street in Providence?
