But it’s a moot point because it would never happen.mafiastudent wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:38 pmOnce again, you avoided the question which was: So, if you ever, God forbid, get tangled up in some law enforcement issue, if the Feds decide to "play dirty" with you for whatever reason (maybe they don't like the way your hair looks), you'd be okay with that?Ozgoz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:19 pmI was trying to illustrate a point in as few words as possible. Try and think what I’m getting at. I am trying to say that I don’t think the FBI go after people for a laugh, they do it because they know these people are getting away with murder.mafiastudent wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 1:42 pmYou avoided the question. Take the hair part out. It's called being sarcastic or facetious.
That’s the difference between me and you. I don’t care about fair as long as you win. If I think it’s for the greater good (which locking up monsters for lift obviously is - hopefully we can all agree on that?!) then you gotta do what you gotta do.
If you want to crusade against that, go for it. But you’re going to get blowback on it, because it’s....odd. I mean what next, are we going to clear Roy Demeo’s name?
I presume your kid(s) are grown up. Because mine are 1, 4, 6 and I am too busy picking up food off the floor, wiping their backsides and putting out tantrums to worry about the injustices against gangsters. (And before anyone gets cute I had hide in the toilet to write this).
Here’s another way of showing you what everyone else thinks of you; of a list of everything that’s important in life; having healthy kids, getting a good job, making nice memories, getting a good house, AstroTurf vs grass, the Med or Florida........the imprisonment of career criminals is about number 890 on that list.
That’s the best picture I can paint. That’s it, that’s me and everyone who’s normal. You put it up there in the top 2 or 3 or whatever you want to do and let’s move onto something else now.

Bert you’ve either got yourself, or me, completely confused at this point with who said what. I’m in the bath and I’ve got 20 minutes spare so I either try and figure out what you’re on about or I go jerk off to pornhub. I’m sure you won’t begrudge me my decision. Good luck with the lord’s work.bert wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 7:37 pmYou say dumb things like Ithen respond to me withf you think the FBI go the extra mile on someone because they don’t like the way someone’s hair might look...then you are the epitome of lost.when I point out I did not say that, then you are faking it.I honestly don’t know what to say to you. I’m honestly speechless.

Re: Gotti to die in Prison
I entered this debate late but I don't give a fuck about Gotti or Joe Lombardo (before he died) or any black old sick gang banger getting out of Jail because they are sick. Who cares? I think they should start executing all violent criminals & just get rid of them. Joe Lombardo was convicted for killing Danny Seifert in front of his wife & kid. Lombardo should have just been executed as far as I'm concerned. I know it sounds hard line but that's how I honestly feel about it.
No offense to anybody trying to make a point about something, but for me, those guys' freedom are not even worth talking about at all. They don't care about me or their victims, so I don't care about them. I find some of them interesting to read about but as far as crusading for their freedom to go home from prison if they are sick, I personally could give a fuck about it. But hey, that's just me.

From a moral standpoint, I think the death penalty is wrong because you are putting someone’s lives in the hands of the government. Now, I guess you trust the government to make those kinds of decisions, but I’ve seen enough prosecutorial misconduct, incompetent defence attorneys, and agenda-driven cases to let the life of another man be in the hands of a couple of prosecutors and a judge who was probably an ex-prosecutor. I mean, are you blind to the fact that innocent people are locked up every day? Now you want them dead too?Confederate wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 1:43 am I entered this debate late but I don't give a fuck about Gotti or Joe Lombardo (before he died) or any black old sick gang banger getting out of Jail because they are sick. I just gave you my feeling about obvious VIOLENT criminals being executed. I don't wish to debate it because I don't care about them.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 1:59 amFrom a moral standpoint, I think the death penalty is wrong because you are putting someone’s lives in the hands of the government. The Daniel Siefert murder was beyond the fucking pale. I don’t think a lot of posters here understand how these people’s mind’s work.
I grew up (in England) in a rancid cesspit shit hole of crime and fucking scum and up to your armpits treachery, the lowest of the low that would rob your dead grandma’s jewellery in a heartbeat. The only difference between those guys and a Lombardo or a Gotti or a Crea or a Persico is these mob guys have a few dollars.
If the only defence anyone has is “it could happen to you if you were being prosecuted...” is so fucking weak it is incomprehensible.

Ok you win. Let me know which mobsters we’re petitioning for release this week and I’ll get onto my local congressman.bert wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 9:25 amYou understand how their minds work, but we don't.Ozgoz wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 3:44 am The Daniel Siefert murder was beyond the fucking pale. Prison should be a frightening place. Let those criminals create their own hellhole. I tell you the idea of punishment to fit the crime doesn't work. We need unjust punishment. Hang somebody for armed robbery. Try it! We've got nothing to lose.

Re: Gotti to die in Prison
I know I'm way late here as I'm catching up with the posts but you are dead on. It's like the ones who taunted the government over the years were treated like shit. Lombardo gave them the most fits over the years and obviously they held the grudge. Hell they even threw Vito Rizzuto into Supermax and it wasn't like he was some terrorist or raising hell here in the States. I think if they ever get a hold of of Merlino "for good" he'll get the same treatment.Confederate wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 10:08 pmI don't have an opinion about these Mafia guys being released one way or another concerning their failing health. However, I do have to say, that these Judges are somewhat prejudice against these big Mafia guys in Jail (IMO). They keep them in there to the bitter end. They released Auippa years ago & he immediately died. They released Cerone about a year later & he immediately died. They kept Lombardo basically in a inhumane type of environment so he could die. Prison certainly aint fun for these guys. Just an observation....
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....

Re: Gotti to die in Prison
It comes down to federal dollars man. We just had an issue in Bama where a convicted murderer (yes you heard that right) was at a minimum security work camp and escaped, meanwhile drug dealers are locked up tight in state pens. Makes sense right?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 10:45 am Prison should be a frightening place. Let those criminals create their own hellhole. Re: Gotti to die in Prison
You fellas with your fancy ideas of rehabilitation. I tell you that the concept of rehabilitation is a farce. Do you honestly think that bringing Johnny Cash into prisons to sing railroad songs is gonna rehabilitate anyone? Most people are sick and tired of mugging and crime in the streets.

Re: Gotti to die in Prison
Peter Gotti never taunted the government, or did anything that earns him a death like the government wants to give him. If they let others doing life out, let him out.
