You can take this and apply it to many power situations...

You dont need to be a soothsayer or psychic my man. Politicians and leaders read this for a reason.

You said " freak occurences" kept Montagna out of power, I say no. He made some very SPECIFIC mistakes...

Again misinterpretation. With freak circumstances I meant the way he was killed.

Another old Rizzuto rival. Seems like they are determined to wipe out all past and present enemies.

The only untouchables imo are the Commissos themselves but everyone else is up for grabs.

From their perspective, it's only logical otherwise it will never end.

One of the 48 laws of power: crush your enemies completely.

the commisso's are in danger too, they probably killed some of their men

Everyone is in danger at the moment, no one group is dominant enough to crush the others, unlike the pre vito arrest rizzuto family, which was pretty much suicide to go against them completely
