Give him credit he’s got money coming from all directions and legit and non-legit and every corner of the country all in cahoots and firing on all cylinders. They also are all on the same page with regards to maintaining a LOW profile! They are quiet again and it’s working. Nobody know shit - not even the Feds - which is how it’s supposed to be! Funny thing is with all of Merlino’s reach, I can’t figure out how Narducci and Pung plays into it all. I know the Nicky Whip is involved for a fact, but not sure who he reports to. He’s always at his spot in Naples, FL and in Philly less and less these days so who knows. I'm not sure how we're defining crews here but there aren't any LCN crews in Vegas or California today. Even 20 years ago, the only families with members still in Vegas were New York and Chicago. And there's nobody left in NE Pennsylvania to absorb.
Philadelphia has their small North Jersey crew. Still some guys up in Boston, maybe. And, Merlino has associates down in Florida. But the general trend, as far as their world and reach goes, is one of shrinking - not expanding - scope.

Back in 1999 it was reported about a dozen made guys lived in Vegas. Likely less now. True, some still go to Vegas.
The only guy I can think of is David "Fat Dave" Stroj, who was involved in a 2008 Philly bust. He was later caught up in another gambling bust out west that stretched to California, Vegas, and other places.
I think he meant Jacobs gets 300K every five years....its gotta be higher than that. I'd take 10-1 that Joey paid Jacobs at least 500K for that New York trial. Those cases take too much time of everyone in your office and too much energy to do it for less.
