There is those statements by Frank Calabrese that DiFronzo didn't want it and the pancake flipper is the boss. Pancake flipper is said to be Joe Andriacchi.

In the mid 90s when Joe "Wing" DiFronzo was indicted for an indoor marijuana farm, he supposedly left Chicago in a hurry - not to get away from the Feds, but to get away from Sam Carlisi who ordered his death for losing the money he had loaned DiFRonzo for the operation and screwing everything up. Joe apparently stayed in Florida until his older brother John could get him a pass. I've heard rumors John DiFronzo gave the Outfit to Carlisi at that point to save his brother
That story sounds strange? According to U.S. Attorney John Burley, in 1989 a guy named Coffey owed Joe DiFronzo juice money he couldn't pay. John DiFronzo ten "suggested" that Coffey start the Pot Growing Business. Joe Difronzo would most likely have borrowed money from his brother John DiFronzo who was his Boss and got involved in the situation. John DiFronzo had a lot of money in 1989. The investment was $90,000 plus some payment toward the guys mortgage.
Why would Joe DiFronzo borrow money from Sam Carlisi? Even if Carlisi got involved THROUGH John DiFronzo, John would have paid Carlisi back.
Do you have any documentation stating that Joe DiFronzo "borrowed" this money from Carlisi?

I would like to see documentation that DiFronzo was a snitch, dry or otherwise. The only place I've heard it is on these boards and it seems to be perpetuated by the fact that people can't believe he was either lucky or successful enough to avoid major prosecution.

American News Post is the "source" for both the "DiFronzo as dry snitch" story and the "Joe DiFronzo hit parade" rumor but if you believed what those idiots wrote then I'm not sure what to tell you. Fosco was what he was but he at least had credibility. Black Angelo was full of shit but other idiots and phonies like the Don made even him look like the Ultra codebreaker as far as inside knowledge was concerned.

Yeah, zero credibility when nothing like that had been hinted before.

Wasn't Carlisi arrested in December 1992 and never on the streets again.

Yeah, but he was still probably able to relay orders behind bars. He was trying to get his conviction overturned on appeal when he died so perhaps he still retained some element of control believing he may be released.

I gave the source my word that I would not share it but I will say that (a) he is dead and (b) he is not DiFronzo (at least not the CI he had in mind). I have no way of proving or disproving the source but I haven't heard from him in quite some time. Take it for what it's worth but even if he hadn't asked for my confidence I wouldn't have stated it as fact without further corroborating evidence.
I think I heard the same thing and was told to keep it in confidence from someone on the board . Guy from out west been dead for awhile. Doubt anyone on here would guess the name

There weren't too many Outfit guys out West that were obscure where the name wouldn't be guessed. Frank Buccieri? He was in Palm Springs. lol

He died in 2004, so it could be him. During his days story goes that he wasn't very likeable person and wasn't very much respected by his peers

You're right, meaning we need evidence regarding Carlisi allegedly financing a dope deal, although when I made some research on Tommy Durso (similar function and status as Richard Cain), his dope deals were financied by both DeStefano and Giancana

I believe it's been written that Frank Buccieri was the Outfit rep to other families under DiFronzo.
