Ya this Ragusa guy was definitely a lose cannon back in the day.... don’t know how much murdering he’s doing these days lol
Re: PAUL RAGUSA Convicted Felon and Organized Crime Associate Sentenced to 72 Months’ Imprisonment For Possession of Mac
Ragusa was set up, that is certain, even the feds say he was by their informant. He does deserve a chance to answer the charges
(although I know that pisses people off) I stick with what Is said earlier he is not too bright, but is not much of a Gambino or Bonnano associate. The indictment has John Marzulli as contract. He was a very biased reporter favoring the prosecution in every case he ever covered. They rewarded him with a job. In a fair world, that would be a crime. Like Rudy Guilliani setting up a law firm to handle all business regarding a business ( I think it was waterfront or carting) that he had thrown the mob out of. He stepped down as mayor, and they had a 2 millions dollar a year no show job for him. He put guys in prison for less.

true. there is always someone worse out there. but there are feds and other cops to take care of that too. all i'm saying is paul ragusa isn't just a bookie or something along those lines, he has killed innocent people as well.bert wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 2:14 pmThere are worse guys out there, including as Moscone said ones who just kill innocent people. It does no mean these guys are innocent, he means priorities.TwoPiece wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 11:23 amplease, this guy would kill you and your loved ones for that quick buck in a heartbeat. he'd probably also deal dope laced with fentanyl if the opportunity was there. this guy is no different from those hoodlums you're talking about.Moscone65 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 3:34 pm There are much worse fuckers out there; fentanyl dealers, hoodlums shooting wildly and killing innocent people, meanwhile these fbi pricks spend their funding going after a 50 year old goomba trying to make a quick buck and get by. Ragusa's father is Filippo, from Bagheria. Ragusa's sister and brother-in-law owned the property where the Giannini cafe was located and both were involved in heroin trafficking along with the father. Filippo was likely on record with the Bonanno family but served as a middleman with the 18th Avenue Gambino crowd. It's not surprising there would be a connection to the current Gambino 18th Ave guys. Semplice has been described as a soldier under Mannino and comes from Agrigento.
Acting capodecina Damiano Zummo's father Pasquale was also on the fringe of the Pizza Connection investigation and got caught up in his own heroin case with other Sicilian mafia members or associates. Based on this, along with where Zummo lived and operated, he was likely one of the younger guys around the Giannini crowd, so Zummo, Ragusa, and Morena can probably date their association back decades.

Anyone know what Ragusa’s exact charges were in the 90’s? (The charges involving the Giannini crew)

It reminds me of the old Italians vs Sicilians arguments that use to break out in the neighborhood.

Alot of these guys all came up together and were from the same areas of Middle Village, Maspeth, Ridgewood, Glendale, The Aiello's "Ace" and his father, The pippitone brothers who went with the Bonanno's, The Guzzo's Vito and Anthony, Jimmy Galante, Paul Ragusa and his family and extended , The Bartolottas, the Fortunatos ,The Puglieses, Salvatore , Mike and Steve . Sal was just involved recently in some Construction extortion, Violations, Government contracts, Bid rigging and abuses who was a former Giannini member . The Antinuches, Michael, Kevin, Dave. The Deluvio's , The Deleo's. Alotta guys came outta those neighborhoods that are now made, Dead, In Prison, Associates. They used to hang out on Metropolitan ave. ,Dry harbor rd., The Juniper park boysB. wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 12:24 pm Ragusa's father is Filippo, from Bagheria.
