CAMILLO (CARL) SARDEGNA - born 1925 in NYC. By 1965, he had relocated out to the Dix Hills section of Huntington Township in Suffolk County (10 White Birch Drive). He was identified as a Bonnano “associate”..... very little available about Sardegna’s prior history. He was the owner of a trucking firm that did business on the New York docks. He was active in the bookmaking racket for which he had been arrested. During the “Bonanno War”, he was said to have been affiliated with the Joseph Bonanno faction. He had an arrest record for; bookmaking, forgery, bigamy and violating state wage laws. He had convictions for; bigamy, state wage law violations and bookmaking. Never jailed. After the early 1970’s, nothing is heard from Sardegna, and no additional information was available, including a dod.

Re: Maxie's Bonanno Profiles
I am! I like reading about the lesser known, but still influential members. I'm researching the Bonanno war currently and trying to piece it together, so it's cool to read the profiles and get a picture into that time through them.
