Yes, just reread that part of Bill's book. But that Vito was a soldier not Captain and lived in Brooklyn not the Bronx. May have been some confusion over the 2 Vito's, either by informant or transcriber, as Vito D was from the Bronx, or at least his son Joseph was a captain there in the 70's/80's.

Not aware of any Vito Bonventre from th e 1960's.
